The content of this book is fine, but the vertical scrolling function is not available on Kindle, which was quite disappointing.

This is the third edition I've bought over the last 24 years and I cannot recommend this colour textbook enough. Magnificent scope across all aspects of human physiology, brilliant, simple text linked to the simple, very easy to understand, beautiful diagrams and considerably enlarged and updated for this edition. The back story, of Despopoulos, is one everyone should know. The best physiology book of all time and I struggle to think of a better text book in any discipline.
