Bought the book beside we needed the CDDaughter loves both !

--this coming from an adult who hasn't played music since high school. I love that the fingering is written in above the notes so you are reading music in a dual way that feels intuitive--I don't have to stop and think about it, I can just do it.

Good book and the CD is very helpful.

My teacher recommended this book. She likes teaching this method and I have found it practical to use. I have three books in the series and use the CD to practice with that is provided with the book.

I bought this book and CD on the recommendation of my cello teacher. The biggest issue that I have is finding a CD player… It seems a bit outdated, so I wish that there was a digital version of the audio as an option. There are also no instructions or introduction to the book, so if I were doing this on my own, I would feel very lost, and confused about which songs went with which numbers on the CD, and what would be the best way to practice them. Overall a decent product if working with a teacher.

Came exactly as stated, on time, and being put to good use!

We play the CD in the car and I think it helps my daughter with her pitch. The CD has a simple piano accompaniment - doesn't overwhelm the cello part.

You know this is an awesome book, or you wouldn't even be looking, right? :) The cello teacher was pleased it came with a CD.

O livro chegou todo enrugado, como se tivesse ficado molhado e depois secado, inclusive a capa. Triste, porque é caro e bem fininho.

Great first book method for young cellists

Ottimo metodo per principianti. Il CD allegato corredo è molto utile: contiene sia la parte piano/violoncello che la sola partePiano. Meglio sarebbe avere un link per poter scaricare i file musicali. È difficile esportarli dal disco in formato portabile.

Très bien, recommandé par mon professeur de violoncelle. Avec CD, très pratique pour se faire l'oreille et s'entrainer au rythme.

Bought book 1&2 after 8 weeks, 1 per week, of cello lessons. I'm on book 1 and finding the tunes progress in difficulty but aren't too difficult for a beginner like me. The music has the fingering on and so far all are 1st position. I'm enjoying the practice and am beginning to feel like a cellist! A good point about the books is that the music is more "grown up" than twinkle twinkle. I bought the book with the cd but the music is available on iTunes also.
