Great substitute
this is a great product for people staying away from salt. You wouldn't know it's not salt. Only problem is it's far too expensive. 6, 3 1/8 oz containers for $32 is too much

Taste like real salt.
I always loved salt and can no longer use real salt. I bought this and at first I could taste the difference but after a couple of uses it now tastes just like real salt to me. The only problem I had with my first order was they shipped it in a bag and one of them got kind of smashed and I lost some of the salt in it.

NO SALT NEEDED ANYMORE
When my husband's doctor told him he had to stop using salt, he thought the world would surely stop turning. I was worried, as he would go through a full salt shaker in 3-4 days. Why was I worried? I've stopped using salt also. This is an excellent product! Congratulations and thank you to the Morton Salt chemists and the German manufacturers for this outstanding substitute.

Excellent substitute
My spouse is supposed to be on a salt restricted diet after heart surgery last year. This is the only salt substitute we have found that he will actually use. I have been using it when cooking and we don’t notice any real difference in flavor of our food. The only thing is, since we had to buy a 6 pack of the containers to get a better price and a little goes a long way, we now have enough of his salt substitute to last about 3 years.

Not worth the bitterness!
Morton's is good at salt - not salt-free. Not only does this particular product have a lousy, bitter aftertaste, but it doesn't cook or bake well. You can't use it to replace salt in most recipes because the bitterness becomes pronounced and the money you spend is just not worth it. I use No-Salt instead, which doesn't leave a bitterness and cooks and bakes just like salt. One thing about salt substitutes as well, if you use too much, you'll be left with a burn in your mouth, be careful! This will work if you have no other option, but take it from me, not worth the bitter flavor it adds to everything. You're likely not using this without the doctor saying that you have to cut your salt intake, and this just makes that pill even harder to swallow. Take it from me - avoid it at all costs!

For Muscle Cramps?
I am taking this as a potassium supplement because of a cramp in my right calf. I am training for a race. I am also taking calcium (yogurt) and magnesium (pills). I am also getting some sun for vitamin D. This combination has not helped. This product is not very palatable when just added to water. Not sure how it tastes on food. If I need a potassium supplement, I would try this again, but that may not be what is causing my cramps. I am also investigating using a compression sleeve, a topical Navratna oil (like Emu oil), stretching, and increasing carbohydrate intake. The body is such a great self-healer, that my first inclination is to attribute everything to diet. First I try to eliminate what might be detrimental in my diet.Oh, and this is extremely expensive. I found it cheaper in the store, and I just needed one container. The picture looks like you are getting a regular large salt container, but no. These are miniature containers. I put 1/4 teaspoon in a glass of water, hold my breath and gulp it down. I do that a few times a day, whenever I drink water. That should be enough potassium combined with what I get in my food.

added yrs to my life
I was PRE diabetic of 12 yrs before I had diabetes & this sale was the ONLY thing I changed from my diet. I fully believe that if I had kept eating actual salt I would need insulin by now. I have very little diabetes left to worry about I STILL eat this substitute salt & am grateful that u still sell it. Thanks for helping me live longer as they discontinued for a long time in ANY store, they've brought it back but I still order from u.
