I'm comparing 2 sets: otc #5900a 52pc set for $84 vs this neiko #10083a 60 pc set for $61. any thoughts for diyer? is otc worth more $ for less parts?

No but Taiwan is a notch above anything made in China where their focus is on 24 hours a day manufacturing and zero quality control. I have many other Neiko sockets all from Taiwan. No problem with quality.

These are well made in Taiwan. Snap-on sells these same tools as "Blue-Point" and "Williams" with lifetime warranties, but for more money. These Neiko branded tools don't have any effective warranty in the US, but they're solid and probably won't let you down.
