Nothing happening yet!
So far this has not done anything for me, even after weeks of faithfully taking it. I'll continue to take it until I have finished the bottle. Still hoping it might be the "miracle cure" that so many have claimed it to be.

Toxic reaction
I bought this product off eBay from the seller "not the norm", and was initially a little worried about my purchase for two reasons. It came as a dark flowing powder that smelled like Holarrhena antidysenterica powder which is surprising because that is a completely different species. Also the sticker on the bottle was a little peeled in one corner. Despite this I consumed it anyway because the seal on the top was unopened. Since this product was expensive I took an extremely small amount everyday (<100 mg). What I found was that my nose and facial area kinda stung when I stopped taking it, leaving me to assume I was having some kind of anti allergy withdraw. Figuring that it was working, I continued to take it a few days out of the week in tiny doses. I would mix it with water and put it in the microwave until it was boiling. When I went to the doctor I mentioned some mild (anxiety caused) chest pain, and nothing else, but I got my blood tested and there was some pretty serious stuff going on. My Alt level was 167 U/L, and AST was 67 U/L out of a normal range of 10-40 U/L. Clearly something was wrong because these levels indicate liver damage. My doctor ordered another blood test and after I stopped taking Yamoa for a week my AST went down to 26 U/L, and my ALT went to 99 U/L. Clearly this product has some issues that are not widely known because I could not find any mention of liver toxicity anywhere so I looked up one of the alkaloids in it Connesine, and found that it has the potential to cause phospholipidosis which causes the accumulation of lipids similarly to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. What is concerning is that I was taking such a small amount of this product that after 5 months of daily use, there was still more than half left, even though the bottle says 1 gram is the recommended daily dose. Also, it definitely got rid of my allergies. For some background I have the following alleles CYP3A5*7, CYP19A1*4, CYP1A2*1F, CYP3A5*3. These are all linked to poor metabolism. I dont drink or use any drugs.

Trying Yamoa powder with local honey for seasonal allergy
I have a serious issue with seasonal allergy, I cannot be more explicit that this. During the month of April,September, it is very sever(unmanageable). But I have mild allergy round the year. It is affecting my quality of life and many more things. So trying out anything that gives long term relief or cure.I have ordered one bottle of capsules and two bottles of powder. Initially I ordered bottle of capsules. But after carefully reading all the testimonials all over the internet, it looks like mixing powder in the local honey gives the best result. This concept is also used in herbal based treatment in other countries, so I am sticking with this approach.By the way, I have been using Grapefruit extract tablets , Quercitin tablets and Vitamin B5 to effectively control the allergy symptoms. But I am looking for long term cure or solution. It has been more then two weeks since I stated with this. After one week I think the severity has come down. After two weeks, I tried by quitting Grapefrunit extract tablets , Quercitin tablets and Vitamin B5, but I see that I still have seasonal allergy after two weeks with reduced severity.I will update this thread after I have some good improvement or after two months.
