These attached in minutes and are easy to open and close
This was a very simple and efficient solution to securing our little one's dresser drawers as we transitioned from crib to big-boy bed. These attached in minutes and are easy to open and close.They mount easily with the adhesive backing on both sides and will keep a little kid from opening the drawers. I'm sure that a grown up could pull hard enough to pop the adhesives, but that's not really the point of these locks, is it? Since there is no hardware to mount, there are no screw holes in the dresser, which means that when we don't need these anymore, the dresser retains it's finished look.One caution - The mounting pad that does not disengage comes open to be put one one of the many notches of the adjustable strap. Make sure you've got it in the right location before you lock the top piece in place. As far as I can tell, once you click the top piece in place, it's set and there's no going back-I could not find a way to disengage the pad from the strap. As long as you're sure of where you want to put it, this isn't an issue.Delivery was prompt and as expected and these are cheaper through Amazon than comparable products at our local retailer. We bought these locks to keep the toddler from opening the Fridge and it works.They are also work great on the Kitchen cabinets and drawers.They are challenging enough to open that he cannot do it but are easy for an adult to use even in places we need to access all the time.The adhesive seems to hold really well.It is a great deal because you also get 3 nice door stopper and 6 outlet covers,The door stopper looks very nice on the doorframe and works well when the door will slam closed from the breeze,or by mistake, and they keep the door open enough so fingers don't get hurt, very convenient.When you do want to close the door you turn the snail 90 degrees and back to protect the fingers.The outlet cover are also nice ,Taking out the outlet cover requires a drop of effort from children, and it's good.Great value for money.

Should have ordered what I already knew works
I ordered a set of different brand before for kitchen drawers and they have been holding for a couple of months now. Needed to lock out 3 more drawers but kept being lazy. Finally ordered and went with this brand because I thought it has a cleaner look. The sticky pad came of on all 3 that I put. Even the one that was next to the one of the ones with the other kind which has been holding fine. I think the plastic strap is to stiff and once bent far enough it'll push back eventually loosening the sticky pad and lifting it. It would probably work better on cabinet doors for that reason. We used the outlet covers so it's not a complete waste.

Look for something else!
I had issue with the adhesive even though I cleaned the surfaces as instructed. Other times the strap just came out of its lock! Now I'm spending time try to remove the ones that did stick, which is a time consuming task! Look for something else before you try these!
