Remove test kit from the pouch. Hold the round end of cover with one hand. Use the other hand to pull out the test device and the expose the absorbent. 1.Point the absorbent tip downward, place the absorbent tip in urine stream for at least 10 seconds to be thoroughly wet. Otherwise, you can collect your urine into a clean cup, and dip half of the absorbent pad into the urine for at least 10 seconds. 2.Re-cap the device and wait for color band to appear. Read results. Depending on the concentration of FSH, positive results may be observed in as little as 40 seconds. However, to confirm negative results, the complete reaction time (5 minutes) is required. Note: To avoid confusion, discard the test device after interpreting your results and do not read the test results after 8 minutes.

Menapause Kit
Basically this kit will tell you if your FSH levels are at/below or if they are above the 25mlU/ml mark. If the results show your numbers above which is a positive test result then that suggests you may be menopausal or in the pre-stages.If the numbers are below 25mlU/ml mark which is a negative test result this suggests you are not menopausal or in the pre-stages.The test result instructions are confusing. But if you need help you can call their 800 number and they will help you. In my opinion this menopause test kit is more of a peace of mind thing. There are a lot of people with no insurance and they cannot afford to go to the doctor. So this kit can tell you what your levels are as far as the FSH. Are you high or low.You also get 5 test strips so you can do the test several times and see if the results are consistent.If you have any problems before you talk bad about them I would suggest at least give them a call and give them a chance to make things right.

Terrible ... tried one strip and there's no reading at all. I returned the rest. Don't waste your time or money.

Little help if you’re perimenopausal
Product is confusing to read. The test line is easy to read but there is no shading guide to determine if your results line is equal to or lighter and that’s two different results! I think if you are way into menopause, or far away from it your results will be clear but if you’re peri menopausal as I apparently am, you won’t be able to figure out much more than that from this test and you probably knew that before you took it if you’re buying this at all.
