Mad Max Anthology (4K + Digital) [4K UHD]

Good quality set.

Bought the set. The movies are great. But they need to remove the digital code as a selling point, because when I purchased the set, all the codes were expired. And Amazon was no help in that regard. Other than that, worth buying for the movies themselves. But if you want them digitally, you’ll have to grab it separately.

I almost got upset thinking I missed something. The original had its own code and was on the top, but there's a second one underneath. The first one I only get the option for Vudu. The rest is Movies Anywhere.And lastly when I filter my movies A-Z Road warrior shows up under R. The rest of them show up under M.Was kind of on the fence about this because of Furiosa, but meh. I mean Fury Road, Gen X guys came for the action, but we stayed for the supermodels. Now most of us spend the money from not going to theaters anymore and upgrade our 5.1 to 7.2.2. Or better.Definitive technology FTW!

This is for the Mad Max Anthology 4K Ultra HD + Digital Code release.This is a good set, if you just want the movies. All 4, especially the first, look incredible. And the first comes with the original audio mix, as well as the Americanized version.What this set doesn't have are special features. You do get some with the digital copies- the first has a 20 minute look back at the first film, the second has some featurettes and the audio commentary that came with a previous blu ray release, and Fury Road comes with, I believe, all of the extras that are on the physical release (plus the Black and Chrome edition). And there is absolutely nothing with Beyond Thunderdome. And there is nothing on the physical discs themselves.That said, most of the released special features are available with the digital downloads. There are some newer features for Mad Max that were only just made available on the recent Kino release.If you want the special features, and you can't access the internet to stream, then you probably should buy the individual releases. But if you are just wanting the movies themselves, this set would be perfect for you.

Audio on the first movie is meh at best. Video quality is phenomenal on all 3 and audio on the 2nd and 3rd are great.

Warner Brothers had one job... sell the people an awesome set of movies! Lets talk about the digital codes. You get to redeem Mad Max the first movie to Vudu and the other 3 movies to Movies Anywhere. Let me ask you Warner Brothers, what the heck is wrong with that? Why would you split up the movies on different streaming sites? Money! Most of us have been quadruple dipped on buying these movies anyway so why skimp on us? First on VHS, then on DVD, then on Blu ray and now on 4K. Then there's the cheap packaging, Warner Brothers should be ashamed to put out garbage like this for such a fantastic movie franchise. You get a dust cover with one jewel case and 4 discs stacked on top of each other 2 by 2. There's a picture of a car and a helicopter on the box would it have been too much to put the stars of the movies on the dust cover? Would it have been too much to put screenshots on the dust cover? anything other than just the words Mad Max Anthology and two pictures? What a complete disappointment from a studio that has many more movies to release in 4K that I will think twice about buying! One job to do... FAIL!
