Have been wanting one of these for quite some time.Instead of having a plethora of "power bar or wall tap surge protectors" around your home, this will protect every item in your home. Plus... all of your appliances that cannot use "power bars" or are hardwired such as,- fridge/freezer- washer/dryer- dishwasher- range/microwave- furnace- etc, etcwill be protected with an "all in one" economical solution. (watch pricing, can be had for around $100ca to your door)Although not stated as a requirement in the instructions, I decided to install on closest 2 pole tap to main. In my case I needed to move all breakers down accordingly.Very very very easy to install. You will spend more time removing/prepping/reapplying panel cover then installing this surge protector. (For folks unfamiliar with a "circuit breaker panel/service panel", this is 2 pole. You need 2 open slots)Keep in mind, any of you folks uncomfortable with "electrical shock therapy" will incur the added expense of having someone install this. Meaning.... additional $$$.In the event you experience a significant "surge" event in your home, this will take the "hit".But...... it is one time only protection.If/when this happens, it will need to be replaced.It has an led indicator to tell you it is working. When indicator no longer glows, it is a "replace" now scenario.And... at this point you can wipe your brow and appreciate that this is a lot cheaper to replace then any of the above mentioned items in your home.Enjoy!👍👍👍

I decided to upgrade all my surge suppressor capacity throughout the house after I had a scare with my refrigerator. Everything now has chips in it and these can be delicate. Regular household surges form things like A/C starting, stopping can damage stuff over time and replacing mother boards probably equals junking the appliances. I installed this in my sub panel. Had to move other breakers around to make sure that it was closest to the power entry. Don't do this yourself if you don't have skills.

As advertised, easy to install & worked right out of the box

This is very easy to in stall took me 10 minutes and so far it’s working perfectly. After our next big storm I may come back to add to the review. However trying to protect our appliances from power surge so time will tell.

Eaton makes good electrical equipment and hopefully this unit does what it's supposed to. Installation was super easy.
