- Material: high grade titanium alloy Ti-6Al-4V. This gives the product excellent acoustical characteristics at ultrasound frequencies, high tensile strength, high resistance to corrosion and cavity erosion.
- Long microtips act as mechanical transformers to increase vibration amplitude. At specified resonant frequency, ultrasonic probes expand and contract longitudinally around the center. However, no longitudinal motion occurs at the threaded nodal point.
This is an ultrasonic 1/8'' micro tip. The micro tip attaches directly to the converter and is ideal for reaching into long, thin tubes.
