I still need to return my battery operated one. I thought I upgraded with the battery operated unit. I must have returned 4 of them under warranty. They do not last. So I went back to the electric plug in model I had used for years. If you rinse it out each time you use it it will last for years. You can adjust the sprayer but not the speed. That is ok as I never used the different speed modes on my previous unit.

I am really enjoying this airbrush tool as a new way to apply my makeup! I especially love that I can make it as light or heavy as I want! It does take a few tries to get it down and I have not mastered small surfaces yet (think eyelids for eyeshadow or eyeliner) but as you can see in the pictures I was able to get a even coat for my foundation. For smaller areas, you need to have lots of patients bc you'll be tempted to use a heavy hand to build up the color quickly but don't!! Or you'll end up looking like a clown like I did .😂In the first picture I have no makeup on and no filter is being used. The second picture is after one layer and no filter. And the third picture is two layers and no filter.The fair package works great with my skin tone. When I wear my regular liquid foundation, sure I have a great color match and full coverage, but my pores feel clogged and I get breakouts every so often which is super annoying. This LUMINESS makeup is light and it doesn't dry out my skin. I haven't worn it to work yet, but I have had it on all day with minimal fading. Also, it washes off SO MUCH EASIER than my regular makeup! That's a big plus for me!!

Practice Makes PerfectI received this item about 3 weeks ago and I really enjoy working with it. There is something very satisfying about the process as you watch the color distribute over your skin and begin to make everything look like one, bright, beautiful canvas.It takes some time to get used to, so please be patient and give the process a chance.Pros:• The results are truly flawless (you must practice to get to this point).• The machine itself is beautiful and I have no problem leaving it out on my counter.• It will be very easy to switch from summer to fall/winter shades with the ability to easily mix products.• There is a very good range of colors.• It’s fun to use and I feel like a professional (and I’m far from it).• It’s very easy to clean and I like the fact that brushes and sponges aren’t involved (sanitary).• The product (foundation) itself is nice and lightweight.• The coverage is buildable.• It doesn’t take a lot of product to achieve beautiful results which means that although it might be a bit of a pricey upfront investment, it will not cost a lot to maintain.Cons:• You need to practice. This is not something you can sit down and do as you could a foundation that you are familiar with. You would be well advised to practice a few times prior to doing this for an event or before work.• It takes a few tries to figure out what moisturizer and primer works best in combo with this product and your skin. So, again – you need practice.The final message I will leave you with is “trust the process”. There are videos, tips, and tricks to help you achieve your goal of a beautiful, flawless canvas.

Doesn't work! Had to use a ton of drops of the make up and it started to run after just a few hours. It's not a good one.

Disappointed. Again. When will I ever learn that the commercials on tv are fake. Doesn't cover much at all. In fact if you want coverage, the recommended process is to use a regular concealer then apply the luminess on top. The good? It does go on lightly. Also, the ads say you use a couple of drops. In fact, you need at least 4 if not more so not any different than regular bottled foundation. The actual amount of makeup is less only because luminess is premixed with water in order to go thru the sprayer. Then, of course, you have to clean it out after every use. Took me a long time to buy this, always wanted one but it does not live up to the hype.

Ok, I have to admit, I was intimidated when it arrived & didn’t use it for a few days. It took a couple of uses to get the hang of it, but not long! I love how smooth my face looks! (Around the eyes takes a little more practice.) my make up goes on so quick, smooth, & my hands aren’t a mess! I would advise to not get dressed until after you do your make-up, because there can be spills until you get the hang of holding it level while you use it. I have an old shirt I throw over the front of my shoulders & covers my front, just to be safe. Overall, I am a fan!

Only used it about 16 times and product would not spray. Followed all directions when using and cleaned after each use. Did a complete cleaning that was recommended in the manual, removed needle, etc., and still would not spray product or sprayed uneven. Still working on it to see if I can get it going. Will call the manufacturer if not successful. When it worked, it was great.
