No instructions, but YouTube has plenty
My son somehow busted his shifter on his 7-speed. Amazon to the rescue. Since it was a 7 speed (rather than a 21 speed) I just used half of the product.I used a 2.5mm Allen wrench to remove the old one, loosened the nut at the derailer, then snipped the wire, pulled it through the guides, and the old stuff was out.Installation was slip the new part on, guide the wire through the existing channels, then try and get the tension right for the shifter. The last part took a good long while. I suspect if I had to do it again it would be easier, but hope not to test that anytime soon. The replacement grip was too long for a kid's bike, so I snipped about an inch off (as shown in the pictures). It is a rough install, but that should mean it will stay on there.
