Ok, get one with a Soft handle
Used it only a couple times, it works as described. In hindsight I would of gotten one with soft silicon handle or grip, after slicing a couple melons hand started to hurt.

Finally found the best watermelon slicer for me!
I finally received my watermelon slicer today. I've tested other slicers but hadn't found just the right one, the best one for me. Well, this one fits the bill, my hand and gets my vote. The handle of the watermelon slicer is thicker than others, in every way. I like that it is stainless steel, more heavy-duty than others making it my favorite and the best watermelon slicer I've tested. I'm so glad I can put it in the dishwasher, it saves so much time, time that I can spend spitting seeds with the grandkids. I found that I don't have to apply as much pressure to cut the melon with this slicer either. Now, although I purchased this watermelon slicer at a discount for my honest review, I really like this one, so it'a a thumbs up for sure.

nifty little tool
This watermelon slicer is a great little time saver and prevented making such a mess while cutting the watermelon on my counter. All I did was cut my watermelon in half and then off I went with this tool. If you use in in one direction it cuts the slice and then you turn it over and it will pick up the slice. Very convenientThis actually works surprisingly well and cut the time of cutting it greatly.It is made of stainless steel. It is easy to hold and use. It took me a few slices to get the hang of it, but once I did I was very happy. Make sure you're pushing down close enough to the rind in order to reduce waste. I found it is easier if I cut the watermelon in half lengthwise, instead of across the width. I love that it is dishwasher safe and very easy to clean. Overall, I am very pleased with this tool.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review
