I cannot sleep without a sound machine anymore, and the one I had in my clock died, so I tried this one, even though it is marketed for babies. since I turn into a big baby when I can't sleep, I thought it was appropriate. and how cute is that pillow? but I am not going to use it - it went into a box for an upcoming yard sale. it is WAY too loud. I tried covering it with a washcloth to mute it a little, but that's not exactly convenient and it didn't help much anyway. my other problem with it wasn't it's fault - I thought there was a clock in it when I ordered it but there is not. I don't know an infant that needs one. it looks decently made; it could fit someone's needs, but not mine.

I bought this for my new grandson, who is fresh out of the oven. Being a newborn,along with my daughter and son in law being new parents, they freak a bit when the baby fusses in his crib. I can remember way back having a white noise machine & how much better everyone slept. I picked this machine off the reviews and it seems most folks are pretty happy with it and are willing to overlook its shortcomings. I'm not sure if it's just our machine,it's too loud. I suppose if you're trying to mask outside noise, it makes sense. But there is zero chance of me getting any sleep if I had to listen to any of the sound choices. I'm hard of hearing and have to turn the TV up to hear it. Speaking of sound choices, this unit doesn't have the heartbeat sound. I find it strange the company didn't provide a power cord that plugs into the wall socket, rather than the one that comes with it. Surely it wouldn't have cost much more than another .75 cents to manufacture. Not everyone has a PC, nor the adapters to make it work.The reason for my 3 star rating is the volume control, lack of heartbeat and proper power cord.

We bought this for our 4 month old baby but it was so loud! Even putting it across the room was still to loud. Nice product overall but not great for babies or people with good hearing.

This was a great buy! the radio works great it has a very loud speaker and my little girl loves it. Its simple enough for her to use her self and she only 3. She also loves the pillow. Its so soft and comfy. the case comes off so it can be washed and even the ripper is nice not cheep and u can barely see it.

I really like this noise machine. the only two things I would change is the ability to turn it down just a little more and to keep the back light on the clock all the time. otherwise we love the pillow, it's super soft and very cute and the noise machine is perfect for helping my little one sleep through household noises.

It is VERY VERY loud! It is all I can hear through the baby monitor.We have to put it in a drawer at night to minimize the noise which helps a little bit

I was really hoping that this would be what my daughter needed, but the power adapter was missing and the LED screen is broken. Back in the box and off to be returned. Really disappointing.

Machine is loud. Although, for us being loud was a good thing. It drowned out any other noises that used to scare my daughter at night. It has helped her sleep without worrying about every small noise (cat jumping, car passing by). Power cable is a bit short, but you can substitute with another longer cable.
