Not exactly the same as older versions.
This pot is not as wide as my old pot, but it is a slightly taller. This also means I can't use the old lid on the new pot as a back-up. I prefer the older version because it has a wider base to brown my rice. Not a big difference, which I will probably not notice when I start cooking with it.

Great Calphalon pot and lid
Love this Calphalon pot. Had one for 35 yrs and it finally developed a food cook line. Bought this as a replacement. Wish it had a small vent hole in the glass top, but love Calphalon and love this pot. Well worth the money!!!!! It will last me another 35 yrs.

Love everything except for the handle
I love this wok. Size works perfect for me. My only gripe is the handle. It’s too skinny (narrow?) for the wok size. When you’re trying to pour the food from the fairly full wok into the serving dish, the wok will not stay in place when your hand is wet (or oily). The wok will rotate in your hands due to the weight of the wok n food! I finally discovered that I need to wrap the handle with my dish towel which then gives me a better grip of the wok handle when my hand is wet and thus keep the wok in the position I want to get the food into the dish!

Nice wok for high temperature cooking
Very non stick and pretty fit for high temperature cooking like Chinese food. Super easy to clean.
