Great Gift
I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. He loves how there can be several that attach. It is small and easy to fit in places and good quality.

Not compatible with Lego brand bricks and tiny sticker problems
This set is super cute and I loved building it but I wanted to write a review just because it had a few quirks that I wasn't prepared for. Firstly, and most importantly to most people, this set is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH LEGO BRAND BRICKS. While the bricks are all familiar shapes, this set is much smaller than Lego bricks and they do not fit together.I also wouldn't recommend this set to a more casual, or a younger builder. Given how small the pieces were I had a little bit of trouble while assembling the set. Plus the instructions were less intuitive than Lego booklets tend to be, though not by much. The stickers were also very small (all the decorated pieces shown in the product photo are stickers aside from the four tan hanging lanterns on the top floor which are printed on) so they could be difficult for younger builders. I used a pair of thin tweezers and that worked well. A bonus is that the set included an extra copy of the smaller stickers which is really nice.Construction was similar to other building brick brands with a just a few places where the build felt less sturdy than most Lego sets/fewer built in redundancies just to keep pieces in place; for example the hanging flags and awning kept falling off when I jostled the set or snapped other pieces on because they held to the bottom of a plate but didn’t have a cross-piece to support them from underneath. The set is definitely true to the picture though and the pieces felt well made and solid; if a little bit sharper corners than typical Legos. It even came with a mini version of the brick separator.Hands down the biggest issue with this set is that the stickers used on the teacup on top spanned multiple bricks (red circles in photo). Meaning I can't take the teacup fully apart once it's built without removing the stickers which is really annoying for anyone like me who tends to dismantle and rebuild sets over and over again.TL;DRPros: Cute!, solid pieces, snap well togetherCons: small pieces may be difficult for some and are not usable with Lego bricks, less detailed instructions, some stickers cover multiple pieces

It's No Lego, But It's Pretty Darn Close
My kids are half Japanese and just had to have this set when we came across it. It might not be Legos, but it's pretty darn close. They didn't have any trouble putting it together and enjoying it. Even if you're not Asian, I believe any kid would enjoy it.
