Duct Seal Compound is asbestos-free. It will not damage plastic materials, corrode metals, or have adverse effect on human skin. Duct Seal compound; grey in color and putty like; non-corrosive and non-irritant. Can be hand-shaped to any form and reused if necessary, has many applications in HVAC/R, plumbing, metal fabrication, and a superb general purpose sealant around the home. May be painted immediately after applying and won't bleed through dry paint film.
