The three stars are only for the joy in my daughter's smile when she saw the lawn card. However, despite the product description, the sign can't survive any moisture -- not even humidity. The stakes don't insert far enough into each letter which leads to extreme drooping in a short period of time. We had extremely humid weather then a light rain that caused all the letters to fold in half, followed by the sun drying them permanently curled. Spent too much money on the yard card for on four hours of birthday pleasure. There is no protective coating against even mild elements.

If you have bad weather this would not be as good as the plastic ones. But, It was a big hit.

I didn't realize these were not plastic...my bad for not reading all the last bullet in the description and the reviews before buying. However, I'm going to spray them with clear polypropylene to see if the letters will last the whole day and maybe for a second or third use. My Yard Card did ship quickly, but the cardboard case it came in was unglued and can't use to store the letters.

My hubby really enjoyed his surprise it made him feel special.

It is super cute, and my 8 year old loved seeing this in the yard on her birthday morning. However, I was disappointed to see that these are not reusable. Any hint of moisture (which there will be because they go in the yard) and they are finished, done, warped, in the trash!

Great product and good size! I just didn’t take into account the Rain!!! I put them out at night and it rained before morning so the letters were ruined. I would have probably invested the extra money to get water proof next time.

Hit of the party! Easy to use and super cute! Worth the money! Won't last long if it rains though.

Unless you live in an area with perfect weather conditions and know you are going to use these on a day when those weather conditions are perfect, I would highly suggest passing on these so you and your recipients of the "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" are not totally disappointed. While they look amazing, they are merely cardboard, NOT corrugated plastic. They bend if there is ANY humidity in the air. A light mist would decimate these letters. We live in Florida. The first and only time I used these it was gorgeous out, 75 degrees, no rain. Placed these signs in the yard at 6:50am. By 7:10am they were already bending. Total disappointment when the "sweet 16" year old walked out to see it. We were able to bend them back into place enough to get a few quick pics but had to remove them right after. The picture is what they looked like AFTER bending them back in place for a few quick pics. The plan was to leave them in the yard for the day to announce her birthday. Yeah, that definitely did not happen. Spent the money for a sad 3 minute photo shoot. Pass on these. Look for corrugated plastic ones.
