cool light
its very cool for searching and looking at gems :) it can be used for a multitude of purposes! i was very satisfied.

Good for Prospecting and Shopping.
This product is nearly perfect when searching for certain minerals. It is light and can be attached to my wrist to enable the use of both hands. I use it in conjunction with a head light to search my creek for rubies during late twilight. It is also useful to detect fluorescence in mineral specimens when otherwise out and about. The only problem with it is that the power of the UV light is not sufficient to penetrate 3 to 4 inches of water. Because of that, I demoted the rating to 4 stars.
