I chewed up and spit out 3 timers before buying this one! They all failed within 6 months...just our of warranty of course! This timing is different in that it is electronic and the others were not. I thought the non-electronic ones would be better. I was wrong! This is a nice very unit. Very easy to program with the directions...that are written by someone who obviously speaks and writes in English. I can't speak for the Spanis part of the directions. The only thing I wasn't expecting, but really isn't a problem is that the timier only has a military time readout. In other words, if it is 6:00PM, the timiner will read 18:00 hours. Therefore I have to set it to shut off at midnight by programming for 23:59, which is 11:59PM, or it goes to the next day as 00:00 to start again.

I have used my Nearpow T-319 timer to cycle continuously a recirculating-hot-water pump. The timer is set for a ten-percent duty cycle: 20 seconds on, 180 seconds off. It has worked flawlessly for six years. It has retained its settings through power outages. It can be programmed in hand and then placed into service. I am happy with it.The unit's instructions can be a tad challenging at first, especially when setting infinite-repeat intervals in seconds/minutes rather than minutes/hours. For seconds/minutes intervals the user manual saysPress and hold the Timing Circulate button for 3seconds and the top set of numbers will flash.The three-second hold is the key; otherwise the timer defaults to minutes/hours intervals. I bought them in response to advice from a friend who is a fire fighter whom has seen too many house fires attributed to rechargeable devices left charging way beyond the time required. Works great for that application.

Has battery backup so it doesn’t lose its time or timer settings. I use this to turn off my modem every day at 3am for 30 minutes to clear out all the surfing streaming gateway data so my modem runs optimally

functions perfectly as described large display. easy to install plug and play. the timer feature works great can set 2 on/off timers for the day. the built in battery has worked fine over a few years just bought a second to expand my pond project due to fountain. The first one I bought has been running aerators for few seasons with no Issues what so ever set it and forget it.

It works very nicely! I like that it stays set even when unplugged. In a church where what you set in place may not stay, it's so good to not have to reset things.
