It can move a tad when the shower's running and no one's on it, but the second you put weight on it, it sticks firm to the tub. Before I got it I was really concerned about it's ability and really wanted to avoid the suction bubbles. After using it for a month, I bought another for my other bathroom because the product is awesome. The white stays white, sticks really well, and folds up really easily when you remove it to take a bath. Really happy with product.

The suction keeps the mat in place and for the duration of the shower. It is easy to remove and clean. I like it.

works ok, but slips around a little

I bought this for my 1yr old granddaughter to take baths on. We have been struggling because the bottom of the tub is textured so no suction cups will stick. This lays flat during her baths giving her the stability she needs to move around a bit. We love it!

I've tried at least a dozen non-slip mats on my standard American tub with the slight texture in the bottom that is supposed to be non-slip but isn't. This expensive mat will go into the garbage with the others.There is nothing in this mat's packaging to indicate which side goes down in the tub, but the seller's photos here at Amazon seem to indicate that the side with the honeycomb pattern goes down. I tried this mat both ways with identical results: no grip at all.While standing in the middle of the mat, your body weight does hold this mat down, so it's better than the bare tub, and it's comfortable enough on the feet, but there is nothing at all non-slip about it. The mat moves around freely with movement of your feet. The mat actually never lays entirely flat because of the creases where the mat folds. Even worse, once you get soap on the mat, or you rinse shampoo or conditioner out of your hair, the surface of this mat itself becomes dangerously slippery - a major hazard for someone like me with a physical disability.I don't take baths and I did not purchase this mat thinking that it would stay put in a water-filled tub, but I did try this mat in a filled tub just to see what would happen. As expected, it slides around the tub with no grip whatsoever.I give up on mats. I'm going to have to go with the peel and stick non-slip tub stickers instead. Don't waste your money on this mat if, like me, you really need one that grips a slightly textured tub.

I have had the mat for 9 months. Good traction to prevent slipping. To prevent mold, I always hang it on the side of the tub and, in the morning, I flip it over to air dry the other side. My bathroom has excellent ventilation with window open 24/7. Nevertheless, mildew is a problem. The mildew imbeds in the rubber of the mat and is impossible to remove. Also, specs of gray rubber flake off and stick to my porcelain bathtub. It requires firm scrubbing to remove.Unfortunately, this is the only mat I could find on Amazon that does not have suction cups. Mats with suction cup are even more notorious for getting mildew.

Was concerned about this but since we have non slip tubs and grandchildren kept sliding purchased this and was amazed. Comfort, easy to use and great quality for this price. Size was perfect for the tub and drainage is not a concern. No smell when package was opened or with use. No mold after using for several months. Definitely recommend.

This bathmat is perfect and a good value for the price. I like that I can hang it over the side of the tub to dry out and it doesn't have suction cups like other mats do, yet it stays in place and I feel confident that I will not slip in the tub.

it is non slippery and easy to fold

Doesn't work. Slides about and is way too dangerous to use. Additionally, I ordered white and got beige. If it wasn't a bath mat I'd return it. I bought this because I have a textured bathtub and it's meant to be non-slip without suction cups. It isn't.

The mat arrived on time and appears as shown on the site. It did sit down well in the tub and stayed in place during bath. However, personally, I did not find it comfortable to sit on. I have some health issues and was hoping for a mat that would cushion the hardness of the tub. This mat did not offer much comfort for me.

Plastic is so hard was not sticking in bath tub it was flowing in the water. Thank God I didn;t fall
