If you love to do layering, I have to say this is the best and fastest tool for you to use if you hand-cut. You will not regret buying this. Do try!

Love this guide
I use a rotary cutter rather than a blade knife to trim to size. I have trouble aligning my mats for cardmaking. This is perfect for exact borders. I paste my mat on MT focal, then use the guide to cut an exact border.. There are 6 different options ranging from 1/16 to 1 inch.

Handy little tool
I have a set of layering "rulers" that I bought at a craft show several years ago. I love them but when I saw that these are tinted rather than clear I decided to get them. Sounds silly, but I keep my rulers and layering tools in an upright box and I was forever having to flip through all of the rulers, etc., to find the layering ones. These show up and are easy to find. They also work very well. I always cut with a rotary cutter. I've found I can be more accurate with that than with a craft knife or scalpel.

Great for keeping cuts straigh
These rulers are super for cutting your cards and keeping even borders and edges. Glad I have them. Very sturdy too.
