Scott, I use mine all the time and it works well. What ya have to do is put the mag all the way in and pump it back and forth about 1/16 of a inch and every time you pump it in and out a round will drop. Once in awhile a mag will fill if you just hold it all the way in, but most of the time just pump it back and forth 1/16 inch at a time and it will feed fine, I don't use lube on any rounds per directions. I have a smith and Wesson 22A1 and a Ruger Mark II. Works great on the Ruger but the Magazines on the Smith and Wesson are too big. Really wish I had one for the Smith and Wesson
