Immediately upon contacting the company with this information they refunded my money and made sure to replace them! I have to say, they went above and beyond with their timely and genuine concern for their product performing at 100%! I am impressed and will likely purchase again in the future.The only setback I can mention is that the lights blink at a very sporadic pace. It is first slow, then shifts to fast. The project I am using it for is a night light luminary but because it begins to almost mimic a Christmas Tree in speed after a bit it might create the desired effect immediately.Be sure to note the item listed here only fits standard mouthed Mason Jars. That being said, they will fit any size basic standard mouthed Mason Jar. They only show a solid light in the wide version. Perhaps they will consider making this model in the wide mouth size in the future.

We purchased 4 boxes, and unfortunately 1 box was defective. We got in touch with the company, Kentucky Home Brands directly. Talk about an amazing company who is proud of their products and has excellent customer service. Not only did they replace our lights they refunded us the cost and let us try another one of their products. As far as the fairy lights go they are great. After charging in sunlight for 8 hours they are the brightest twinkling lights I have outside. They came packaged well in the box and were easy to install in the mason jars. We leave them outside most nights and have determined they are waterproof to heavy rains. I would recommend not only the lights for a festive display, but the company, Kentucky Homes Brands.

I was looking for small single solar lights for a garden craft project when I found these lights. They arrived in good condition, were the perfect size, and look beautiful in my garden glass art. My friends and neighbors loved them so much I ordered another set to make gifts for two house warmings and one for my "gardening nut" new friend. This has led to orders from others so I will need to order another set. I am having fun being creative and making others smile. I am very pleased with this product.

Love the lights - bright and works really well with putting in jar along with clear acrylic 'beads' to disperse and soften then sparkling effect. Unfortunately - the first set of three that I ordered: one LED light failed after 20 mins use - another one of the three failed after two nights use. BUT: I like them so much - yes...I ordered another set of three ......which have been working for two nights (so far). I will update accordingly.The price is definitely 'right' for how they look and work.......now I have my fingers crossed and hope the two of three lights that failed on my first order was just a.....'fluke'.......we will see!Update: well...I have to say: Jim and Carla not only stand behind what they sell - but also really do CARE about those who buy their products. They contacted me and let me know that they are sending me another whole set of lights at NO COST....along with a little something 'extra' as a bonus (tiki lights).Now if THIS is not an great example of good old 'American' customer service and care - I challenge others to find better....Kentucky Home has earned a very loyal and grateful customer......people: buy their products....they deserve as much business as possible !

I recommend buying your LED Mason Jar lights from Kentucky Home, as far as I'm concerned they have the best customer service, and products. We are using these as pathway lights and they work great. If you plan on leaving your jars out in the weather, I do recommend putting a bead of silicon calk between the LED panel and locking screw ring to keep rain water from entering your jars. You might also have to fit the panels to the type of jar you choose to use, we chose a short faceted jelly jar and found that the insert lip of the panel was just a little oversized (the insert was sitting above the jar lip). We corrected this by filing off a small amount of the inner panel ring, just until the inner ring fit inside the jar.

These lights do sparkle. Since I have received these lights a few days ago I have been having weather and haven't had a chance to really give them a full dose of sunlight to see how well they charge up and how long they last after the sun goes down. I will be reporting back in a few days. My initial look at them indicates that, of the 6 lights I did receive, two of them don't seem to hold the charge as well as the others. But that may be because the lights didn't get equal amounts of light.I also put them in Anchorglass mason jars and the lids on these don't feel very secure. I had a Ball mason jar and the light sets well in that jar with a tight lid. I think I will put them all in Ball jars.I'm hoping the sun comes back out tomorrow so I can give these a big charge.Update: After three days, the sun is out and I left the lights in 8 hours of sunlight to charge up. I then brought them in so I could monitor how long they would last. Of the six lights (now in Ball mason jars), the first died after 7 hours, the next after 7.5 hours, two more at 7.75 hours, one lasted 8 hours and one is still going after 8.5 hours. But I am not going to stay up to see when that one finally flickers out. I am upping my rating to 5 stars since they are lasting quite long enough. They will go into the flower beds as a bit of ornamentation.
