Knorr Professional Beef Powder Bouillon, 1 kg

Every kitchen needs this. Not only does it save a fortune in the long run on shop bought stock pots but it tastes better. Of these is lasting us about 9 months and has really enhanced a lot of our recipes. We also buy the Beef stock which lasts about a year and again taste better than anything we've bought in a shop.

An excellent addition to casseroles and soups and lovely flavour. I tend to use 1.1/2 teaspoons of stock powder to a litre of water depending on what I'm making as I don't find one teaspoon is enough. Certainly a permanent item in my stock cupboard now and will definitely be reordering as and when required.

This is great, though I find I need to use more powder for flavour. I’m not sure if your meant to reduce for gravy or use thickener, instructions are sparse but I suppose a professional would know!

Great to use but too salty

I add it to everything beef gravy related. Not quite sure what it adds but it feels right to add a scoop. Delicious in steak pie, roast beef gravy, mince and dumplings...

Very yseful for soups
