Bought this for a Defender 90. It barely clips in, but it does. And it works exactly as advertised. The rubber backing makes all the difference. I only weigh 150 pounds, and would not recommend going crazy on the step up due to limited contact with the vehicle for back pressure. However, for my weight, this is sufficient to keep in my glove box for when I mount my cargo carrier on top and need to look in without climbing on my seat. Gave it five stars due to it be very solidly made. Doesn't need the glass break tip on the end. Worth the 20 bucks I paid.

I'm 5 feet tall and drive a 2010 Honda Pilot, so EVERYTHING is awkwardly out of reach including my damn oil dipstick I need a stool for to check my oil. That being the case, this step is a GODSEND for accessing the rooftop storage I have. I did a 20,000 mile road trip with just me and my dog from Seattle to South America over 6 months, including lots of camping along the way, and this step got me through all of it. I used it a TON, and man I am happy with it.10/10 construction / durability and it does precisely what you want it to. This thing will probably outlive multiple cars haha. It's solid metal and did great with my spider monkey ass climbing all over my car. HIGHLY recommend if you're height disadvantaged like me, or have back problems and need things more easily reachable.

How am I just learning about these??? This thing is super cool. In the past, I would crawl up on the car like a middle aged spider monkey or beached whale, stepping on my sisters shoulders or using everything in me to pull myself up to a decent position to see the top of the car. Envision that! This dang thing hooks up exactly as described and makes life just a little bit easier. Buy 4! lol Honestly though, if you have kayaks or roof racks or maybe just need a boost to wash the top of the car, you won't be disappointed. I wish I were smart enough to have come up with this thing!

Works great for when I need to get things from the roof of my vehicle. Just put it on the door latch and you can climb right up!Although the rubber piece on it the protects your car from getting scratched fell off within a couple months. So my paint is now all scratched up.

Simple concept that really helps. I struggle with reaching the roof of my suv. This product is very well constructed and happy to support an American small business.

Bought two sets one for my Acadia and one for my wife’s Journey. Nice height to see and access the roof. Will be much easier to secure kayaks in racks. Used to get step ladder to attach at home. Did some dangerous moves to secure after kayaking. These will be much safer

I dislike the size of the step. If someone with small feet can use it fine, but larger feet using a boot, it is very difficult to feel safe stepping up on it. Not what I expected!

Sure beats hauling a ladder around!
