Best poker book I've read!
To start off this is the most helpful poker book I have read so far! Thank you to Michael Acevedo and Jonathan Little from Pokercoaching.com for writing this master piece! I am a amateur poker player still studying and learning the game and this book has moved my game to the next level! It answered so many questions that I had that were not answered in other tournament poker books I've read so far. It lays out so many scenarios and offers what the best play to do in certain spots and a great reasoning behind the theory. I never bluffed very much before I read this book, I was afraid to because I didn't know when to do it properly. And I also didn't understand when I should C-Bet and what sizes are best to use on certain flops from in position and out of position. No I bluff quite a bit more and rarely get called because I'm pick the right spots to do it in based on reading my opponents range and board composition. I'm cashing so much more in tournaments now and when I don't cash I usually am still in the top 25% of players close to the money. I'm not a math expert either and I still got a huge amount of valuable information from this book so don't be intimidate by the comments saying its very complex math and hard to understand. They do have very complex calculus equations that are over my head but I still got more value from this book then any other I've read. If you have not read it and your serious about improving your skills in poker this is a must read!

An Honest User's Review
This is a fantastic book if you're interested in learning more about Game Theory Optimal. As some have said this book makes for heavy reading in parts. There is a lot of math and algebra in parts, which can make it slightly off putting. If like me, you have a very bad experience with math as a child this may be too much for you. However, if like me you love to learn and are happy go slow then this book is a great read.As I said above it can be a hard read, but I feel it totally necessary for the subject matter. Remember you’re getting a book about ‘poker game theory’ and with that comes advanced mathematic concepts.I feel for any budding poker player that wants to understand more of what the top-level players know and think about, then this book is a must read tbh. It is a vast book as well, there is nothing simple and quick within this book. The author goes into detail with his explanations in all the area’s. I don’t think you can read this book once and take away everything you need from it. So be prepared to have it as a guide and know there well may be a need to read it 2-3 times over the course of a year or 2.I’ve learned a great deal from this book, so believe it to have been a great investment all in all. As with anything you can google all the chapters and get the same information for free. But knowing what to google and what you need to learn is another story. So, if you’re undecided on purchasing this, but want to learn and love a challenge, then go for it. It can only help and not hinder your poker.
