What are the features of the infrared IR sensor in ILD-200/300?

The infrared IR sensor's sensitivity remains stable for 10 years, unaffected by humidity or oil, and nearly equal for most refrigerants. It detects concentration changes, so the wand must keep moving.

What are the features of the heated diode sensor in ILD-100H?

The heated diode sensor detects absolute concentration levels, allowing sustained beeping at leaks and high initial sensitivity. However, it loses sensitivity over time, requires replacement, and shows varied sensitivity to refrigerants.

How long does the sensor last?

If it seems like your leak detector is no longer picking up leaks or is not as sensitive as it was when you first bought it, try replacing the filter. This should fix the issue. If this does not fix the issue try replacing the sensor.

Why is it necessary to move during the detection process?

As ILD series are designed to detect the relative concentration of gases, that if the detected concentration remains unchanged in the stationary environment, it will not be able to pinpoint the leakages.

Why does the product alarm when not in a leaking environment?

1. Deformation of the optical chamber affects detection data, a normal occurrence. 2. Loose critical optical filters, we could provide repair assistance. 3. Check for routers or devices causing electromagnetic interference.
