This thing works awesome on a Mossberg 930 magazine tube. Attaches securely to the barrel and has a unique 2 part design that occupies very little space between the barrel and mag tube. Perfect for mounting lights or lasers.

.075 Ring Thickness
For anybody curious...thickness of the metal on the sides of the ring (edges on sides with the cutouts) is ~.075". Lowest measurement I saw was .072".Wasn't able to get a tickness measurement from seller on the ring. Needed something really thin to clear gap between mag tube and barrel on an old shotgun. Decided to order and test fit due to Amazons amazing returns policy. This barely cleared, but would have made contact with the barrel, marring the finish, and would have made the barrel band extremely difficult to reinstall (didn't force it, though I'm confident I could have). Decided to return, not worth the hassel/marring up my firearm.Since I didn't use it, I can't comment on long term durability. However build quality seems to be exactly what I expected for the price and from the pictures; thin, cheaply made, not something I'd take out to train with or "go to war". But likely would get the job done just fine for casual use/range use/closet duty.

Put this on the barrel of my Ruger mk iii lite. Fits like a glove now I can run a wml.

Not secure out of the box for recoil.
Wanted it to work, but it moves when tight. New shotgun and wanted to mount a light. Baught this because it is supposed to fit 1 inch tube. When tight it moves. I will need to shem it to make it work. Also install and removel 2x and the screws supplied are rounding out. Suggest using allen heads if you want them to be secure and removable. Would have been nice if it came with shams and better fasteners.

Could have fit but didn't..Poor engineering
attempted to install on mag tube of my M1. the screws were too short to grab the threads. The mount itself was the perfect diameter but when I tried to install the screws they barely caught and then quickly stripped out. the threads are all boogered up now. I tried squeezing the clamp with pliers to get it close enough and F-ed the rest of it up. Got pissed and threw it in the garbage where it belongs. If the screws supplied were 1/16 " longer it would have been fine. Piss poor engineering
