I just got it and wore it the first time today. It seems to be good quality--a little worried about the strength of the pin on the back. But it is attractive and more important, meaningful for all veterans it is meant to remember.I looked at pins that were just poppies but this one says 'lest we forget' and I felt that explained what it meant to the surprising number of people who do not know what the red poppy signifies.

British Commonwealth countries wear poppies in November in memory of the soldiers buried in Flanders Field so poppy pins are very important to me! It is a striking pin and looks very nice on my black jacket!

A real keeper. Looks great and is going to last a long time. Will wear poppy pin on jacket with pride year long to honor those who gave their life in brave service to their country.

I wanted something that would last a few years, and this looks as though it will. (My wife and I are British, and it seems the poppy is more important to us than to the average American around Remembrance Day). The mounting pin is sturdy and the safety lock well made. The red and black enamel looks very good, and my only worry is how well the gold finish will last. Otherwise, I'd have given it 5 stars.

I'm a Canadian living in the USA. Normally I zip across the border in order to pick up a poppy on Nov 1, but that wasn't in the cards this year. Looking online, I ended up finding this one and order a couple for myself and my other Canadian friends.I had no problems with pinning the brooch on my jacket --- the back of the brooch has a good quality needle and the ability to lock the needle. That is, no need to worry about the brooch falling off and getting lost.I did receive quite a few compliments from my US friends about it. After Nov 11, I made a point to safely store the brooch --- this is something that I will wear for years to come.

A sharp and classy symbol for Remembrance / Veteran's Day. Received numerous compliments. Exponentially better than the paper or cloth alternatives. Wore it by placing the pin through the suit lapel buttonhole and then piercing the lapel from the back. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Would definitely purchase again or give as a gift.

The words "Lest We Forget" are not as vibrant as the seller's photo. The enamaling job on that part of the pin makes the words harder to read. Disappointed in that.
