The turbopan was invented to quickly & easily pan gold. it will reduce your panning time by at least 50%, due to the "Vortex action" & the amount of riffles in the pan. it also acts like a sluice box, but in pan form. No other gold pan is faster!

Counterintuitive to use, good for stratifying only.
Works, but so strangely counterintuitive to use. Difficult to reduce fine sands. Good for grading from rough gravels to pebbles, then transfer to a fine pan.

I've tried it a few times now, and it sorts through quickly. The 10" pan seems a bit small. If I had to do things over again, I would get the larger one instead. The middle trap area seems a bit small, and is difficult to sort smaller gold/magnetite.

Nice size pan to use
If I had to choose I would stick with this black pan as you can see the little flakes of gold better. Not sure the turbo part but it worked ok. We watched the video on it but didn't help a lot. To me it worked about the same

I have only used it for 1 outing didnt find any color, used it for testing new spot along with my proven garret pan both came up with the same results.
