I've been looking for quite a long time for a weighted glove with removable weights that are not only easy to put on but will actually fit. I could never find any my size (small hands) or the design would look too clunky. I had to stick to the gloves with the built in weights because they were the only ones that would fit. Unfortunately after I few weeks of use they would always start to smell (I sweat a lot) and I couldn't wash them because the weights inside was usually a type of sand material and it would leach out so much dirt. I made the mistake once of just throwing them into the washing machine with my clothes and the results were... depressing. The only other way I could think of to help with the smell was to air dry them in the sun but even that has its limits. So for awhile I gave up on weighted gloves but I began looking again because my workouts (turbokick and body combat) just didn't feel the same. And then I stumbled upon these gloves and they have just been awesome. I can just remove the weights and throw them in the washer without fear of them ruining any of my clothes. If only I'd found these sooner.

They work exactly as described. By the end of my BodyCombat classes I can barely hold my arms up. Just wish they came in black.Update: I've had these for over a year now and they're still going strong. I use them twice per week for BodyCombat and have no complaints. Only recommendation I'd give others is don't tighten them too tight around your wrist or when you make a fist it will put strain on where the finger loops attach to the backing and they could start to rip. I can see where some of the thread is starting to pull a bit but they still work great.

Good fit, surprisingly comfortable. If you are not doing heavy hands training, these would be well suited for classes bodycombat.The isolated weight bags are so much better than most other weighted glove designs with beads sewn into the gloves. Even if they do move around with momentum, at least they don't spray beads all over the place in a week.The weights are a little shy of .5lbs. If you care about that much detail, add in 5 or 6 pennies.Haven't had long enough to know about overall wear and tear.I wish there were more weights available, the ability to go to 2lbs per glove would be ace.

I've used them once so far, so it may be a little premature for 5 starts. HOWEVER, I'm so glad I got these specific gloves. What I really like is that the weight is created by two .5 lb sandbags, making them "adjustable." I use them for a 1-hour long HIIT/Kickboxing class. I've done the class for a long time and wanted a way to amp up my routine. While I've done it many times, going from nothing to a sudden extra 1 lb on each wrist would've been asking for trouble. Even the .5 lb (again, on each wrist) made a difference, because I can feel it in new spots in my back and shoulders. I'm thinking it may be awhile before I work myself up to the full 1 lb, and am really happy I have the option to adjust. I would definitely recommend.

After reading reviews on several pairs of weighted gloves I went for these because of the removable weights. Reviews on other gloves revealed that the weight material built into them got ruined after washing. I haven’t had to wash the gloves yet but I am sure doing so will be much easier without the weights inside and the material inside the weights will last. The fit is comfortable and so far they seem pretty durable. They definitely add some resistance to my workouts, especially when we are primarily shadowboxing in my Covid-restricted bag-free outdoor kickboxing class. I definitely recommend these gloves!

I love the fact that you can remove the weights to wash these gloves!! The sand bags are easy to put in and take out. The zipper stays closed when using them. I had planned on using them once a week for the kickboxing class I take. I only got to use them twice. The first day was great, the second day was great, and then I noticed a hole. The glove had torn right at the stitching on the knuckle. I can still use them, but the one glove with the hole shifts and slides around when in use. It was too late to return them.

I wavered about buying weighted gloves but decided I needed add something to my kickboxing workouts - these gloves are perfect! Each weighs slightly more than one pound (according to my kitchen scale) and they are super comfortable, cute, and fit great. They also stay put when throwing punches so that's an added bonus! Highly recommend!

These are a great addition to a cardio kickboxing routine. I like that you can remove the weights and wash them unlike most weighted gloves. Especially since they are absorbent and get sweaty. The gloves with the weights in them weigh just over 1 lb each. It’s not exact and I suppose you could add pennies as someone suggested if you wanted more weight. Overall, not bad. Used them 6 times so far and holding up well. We’ll see if they survive washing.
