These things are great without any single-use-plastic guilt
Wasn't sure I would like these, but they do the job well. The pick at the other end is better than any other flosser I've used. We have residential industrial-grade composting in our area, so I really appreciate that I can just toss them in the compost bin and I'm not contributing to more single-use plastic. I bought the flavored kind but the flavor is not strong at all, but that's not really important to me.

Constantly breaking
I've used these for a few years and they used to be good. But the last two batches have been terrible. They are constantly breaking and I use 5-8 each time due to breakage. They must have tried to cut costs and turned a good product into a bad one. At least at this rate I'll be done with the ones I have in not to long.

Quality picks that don't end up in a landfill
I'm not particularly fond of this style of floss, but they are easy for the kids to use. I hated the idea of throwing away so much plastic, but was skeptical of something that claimed to be compostable.I'm writing this review because I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and durability. The floss stays taunt; the pick stays rigid and pointy; and apparently the whole thing can break down in the compost pile (although I haven't tested that part yet). The kids like them and I won't feel guilty buying them again.

Used to be Great, Now Borderline Dangerous! Don't Buy them!!
I've been purchasing these Natural Dental Floss Picks since January 0f 2023. Loved them. Subscribed to them. My family all slowly converted over from regular floss. Then in November of 2024, I received an order that broke more easily sometimes taking three picks to floss my teeth. I was unhappy but figured it was an anomaly. Then I received my latest subscription in late January of 2025. It sometimes takes 7 or 8 picks to floss my teeth. They snap under the slightest pressure sometimes sending small sharp pieces towards the back of my throat. These are just a few of the broken picks from my last attempt. I had thrown away a couple before I thought to take a picture.I can't continue to use these.

UPDATED Best shape for wisdom teeth
Update: They have changed these in the WORST way. I'm not even sure they're actuslly compostable anymore, they feel like plastic. The packaging clearly switched to plastic coated paper board. I just bought a bunch more and I am incredibly disappointed. See photos for old version vs new. Left old, right new. The frayed thread on the old one was just a defect on one in the box so ignore that. These are my go to. The packaging is cardboard which I appreciate and they're in little separate boxes so we can keep them around the house. They are not mint flavored though, they taste like nothing, which honestly I prefer and don't really care. Yes the tip breaks off which again, non issue. I care more that they degrade instead of being more plastic. The shape is more like a C instead of a U which is great as its the only way I can get in between my wisdom teeth without stabbing my gums. They also bend a bit which makes it easier. The floss is smooth but still cleans really well. Doesn't get caught and shred like many others. Once again, these are my favorite I have found so far for my teeth and the environment.

Great Eco friendly dental floss pick.
I wanted to perches dental picks for flossing my three year olds teeth since it is hard to get my fingers in her little mouth but I didn’t want to be added a bunch of plastic into the world to do so. I was really happy to find these compostable dental picks. They work great for my purposes and even the packing is plastic free. I would highly recommend them.

Good alternative to plastic plackers
As a floss pick that isn't made of plastic, I'd say this works pretty well. The floss part itself isn't natural as it is a synthetic fiber (polyethylene), but it is durable. The UHMWP is so durable it can be used multiple times (although this is supposed to be a one time use thing), if the handle part doesn't give out. There is a weak point between the curved part holding the floss and the thin handle that is easy to weaken and since it isn't plastic, it is a bit weaker and will easily break after bending it a few times. But don't let that keep you from getting this. Also, depending on how you hold it the pointy end can poke you. But the pointy end is super useful for scraping plaque. Overall, this is the best floss pick I could find on Amazon that wasn't plastic (besides the floss) with the packaging also not being plastic, and it works well. I recommend it.

Very slotty!!
Its a toothpick and floss in one. The print on it is supposed to evoke bamboo or something, i just think it looks cheap or poop spattered. I rated it hi because it is a tool that does its intended purpose. The hook is great for killing...the bacteria between your teeth and other things as well i would imagine. The string part fit between all crevices of my teeth and stood up to all 20 some slots. If there was a cleanliness option i would give it a zero, cause you are using the same string for all 20 slots, very slotty!!
