The thermometer measures temperature from -50 to 250 degrees C (-58 to 500 degrees F), with an accuracy of + or - 0.5 degrees C between -20 and 100 degrees C. Its 5.75" stainless-steel probe is resistant to most laboratory s. The probe is attached to the base by a 10-foot cable. The LCD display has 3/8" high digits. The base has a magnetic back for ing on a metal surface, a flip-open stand, and a spring fastener for clipping on any edge. The thermometer is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology standards, indicating that it is calibrated to International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 17025 levels.
