Made For Amazon, Smart Clock for Echo Flex

Purchased JAN 10, 2024, so have had 14 months. Works great. I like glancing over to see the time, setting timers, reminders, and so forth. I unplug the Amazon Flex about once a week when I need the bathroom outlet for other things. The time resets properly when plugged back in. Today, first time ever, when I plugged back in, time reset to 12:00. Instead of unplugging and replugging Amazon Flex, I removed this Smart Clock, and then reinserted. Time reset properly :)

I have had the small Echo plug that this connects to for years but just had not used it.. The plug is no longer made but this is perfect for in the bathroom. As soon as it connected it put the right time on it. Very impressed with the technology and ease of use.

The media could not be loaded. This clock is a “must have” accessory if you’re lucky enough to own an Echo Flex. Simply plug the clock into the bottom of your Echo Flex and that’s it. No setup, no configuration. It automatically gets the time from the Echo Flex and displays it.Now comes the best part, timers… Simply issue a timer command to the Echo Flex, and this clock automatically displays it. As you can see in the attached video, the timer countdown is displayed and there’s no need to ask Alexa “what’s left on my timer”.If there are multiple timers, the one with the least amount of time is displayed. When the first timer expires (or is cancelled), the clock automatically displays the next timer with the least amount of time remaining.When the last timer is finished, the clock automatically reverts back to displaying the current time.I love it and highly recommend it!

Edit: about 5 minutes after I submitted this review it just started working. I heard a notification on my phone, and it said "new device found" and its been working fine ever since. So one star off for the frustration and the design flaw of not allowing you to stack modules.Original:I can't get this to sync up and show the time. I plug it in, and it just resets to 12:00pm every time. Doesn't show up in my app, nothing! I've been through two of them now, and two flexs trying to figure out which one is faulty. Customer support was of no help either. What is going on? I'm about to pack it all up and send it back. Shame, was a good idea if it worked.

I use the Amazon Echo Flex (now discontinued for some reason) due to its lightweight/easy interface. I position these in locations where I don't want the intrusion of a full echo with camera. Yes, Amazon listens and sees everything we do. That comment will probably get my review blocked. Anyway, this clock addition is great and dims when the lights go out. Buy one with confidence.

I've been eyeing this for many years now and finally pulled the trigger on it. It's worth every penny as it's one of the best accessories for the echo flex. I also have the night light from third reality and these are amazing to pair with your flex.

Trying to get a 14 year old out of bed, into the shower and down to breakfast before school has been a nightmare. We tried a clock, it didn't help, he couldn't see the clock in the shower so I got an Echo Flex. This helped a little, but once I attached the clock to the Flex my son actually started to use it. So now he sets a timer for the shower (no one hour showers) and he always knows the real time. I really don't know why the addition of the clock was the key to my sons time management in the shower but it worked for him. The speaker is tinny but is fine for a bathroom and my son plans of getting a waterproof bluetooth speaker for in the shower so he can stream his music. I like the fact that the FLex and this clock do not look like an Echo only take up one electrical outlet. The addition of a clock made our mornings a little bit better.
