Comfortable Structured Baby Carrier, Durable Support for Shoulders, Back, Hips, Shades Baby From Damaging Sunrays

Perhaps we bought the wrong sized item for our needs, but we were never able to fit it around our little one properly, and there were extra length ties that hung here/there - a mess! If the baby squirmed, he was out of it, so I've saved the fabric with my quilting stash.

I have a few other baby carriers: a water sling, a regular sling and boba type wrap sling, but I needed something that I could wear in hot weather and through an entire day of traveling without killing my back. I haven't worn this through my day of traveling yet, but here are the pros and cons thus far:Pros:•Easy to wear•Comfortable, padded straps to help distribute baby's weight over both shoulders and back•Pocket to stash a small (non hard) item•Customizable fit•Hood to support sleeping baby's head and shield them from sun (or cold)•Proper hip positioning for baby•Lightweight•Breathable fabricCons:•Large carrier body and straps (may be a pro for taller or larger people or babies)•Somewhat awkward strap position near babies face (the upside of that is that it's in the perfect place for a teething baby to gnaw on)•Not as quick to throw on as some carriers•A little bulky for stashing in a diaper bagI'm 5'4" and slender, and the torso of the carrier is too long for me, and for my baby, so I fold over the waistband before I tie it around my waist, and I knot the straps in the front to use up the extra length. I also tie the shoulder straps in a big bow after I knot them so they aren't dangling in front of me.

This carrier is perfect for my baby and I, we love it! It is a mei-tai type style and is so simple to use. I have bought soo many different types of carriers - soft structured types, wraps, ring slings, stretchy wraps - you name it and we've tried it. I personally have only found the mei-tai style to work for us. This carrier can be used from 8-35 pounds so you will get a ton of use out of it. It also comes with instructions for anyone who may be a beginner at baby-wearing. It is very sturdy when I put my ten month old in it. I love that I can carry him on my back with it so he can explore, or in the front to snuggle on days when he may be sick, tired, or just plain cranky. One of my absolute favorite parts about this carrier is that it has a pocket in the front for me to put whatever I may need in there - tissues, keys, my phone, etc. I have never found a Mei-tai that has that until this one! I was so fortunate to receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. I love being able to carry my son around in this but still have my hands free to do whatever I may need to do. It makes it so much easier to clean or shop. The print on this particular carrier is brown with daisy flowers on it and it is absolutely gorgeous!!! I have used it every day since I received it, and will continue to do so. I am so pleased with this carrier!!
