UPDATE after owning for several months. I bought this because I found the piece irresistible. Little did I know that it really works. I mean REALLY. I’ve had garlic keepers in the past, but my garlic still went bad. This keeps my garlic from spoiling for lengthy periods. I just pulled some out of the bottom and it has not softened or discolored. I’m so glad that I splurged on this for myself!Original review: I treated myself to this and I love it. The colors are beautiful and it holds a lot of garlic which is exactly what I wanted. Very special and would make a wonderful gift for someone with an earthy or artsy kitchen. I also like that it came from Ireland as I’m really into the whole Celtic thing. It’s a piece of art to me thus worth the price. :)

I like this item. Only draw back is this keeper has been glazed on the inside.

Finally a garlic pot big enough for garlic lovers. It's lovely, well crafted and arrived packed perfectly to prevent damage. For me it's worth what I paid.

My garlic keeper is gorgeous and well made. It holds a little over 3 bunches of garlic and is just what I had in mind for our kitchen counter. The colors are beautiful, too!
