Perfect for on-the-go sketching!
Does exactly what I needed it to it fits perfectly in my little art pouch and is super convenient to carry around. I haven’t had any issues with bleed-through so far, and it’s great for quick sketches or light drawing. I love the color (purple is my favorite!), and the fact that it opens completely flat without creasing the spine is a big plus. Lightweight, practical, and really well made. Can’t wait to fill it!

Versatile, compact sketchbook
It’s a great little sketchbook! I like the paper consistency and the cream color. Not something I would recommend using with a lot of wet media, but I do occasionally/sparingly use a bit of watercolor or other paint (also I kind of like a bit of a crinkle in my sketchbook pages.) But great with ink, pencil, pastel, etc.

Good quality for not being cotton; takes water well.
A lovely watercolor sketchbook. No bleeding through or pilling with normal use. Holds water well enough. With some stretching or overstretching of the binding you can make this lay flat without holding it down to paint across both sides. Travels well. Nice elastic closure. Sized to transport easily in a purse or medium sized bag. ~5 x 8". Paper is thick, but not cotton. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again. I paid $11.04 each.

Cheap and awesome
This probably won’t sound like a compliment, but these are excellent subpar notebooks. It’s almost like the Goldilocks of notebooks. Some notebooks are extremely high quality, but then i feel bad using it for “crappy” sketches, and unfleshed out ideas. Other notebooks are extremely cheap, made with horrible paper and bad binding, and even if you wanted to experiment, the paper tears on you, and it’s not a fun experience. But this notebook? This is the type of notebook where it holds up to ink, alcohol markers, gouache, and watercolor so I can experiment and play and not feel like the paper is precious. It’s not watercolor paper, so don’t expect it to act as such, but it works. Also, when I use alcohol markers, I can’t use the back of that page. Oh well! I’ve used these notebooks the last three years for Inktober. I love how small they are, and how they come in all these different colors. I always have fun in these, and that’s the whole reason I make art.

Great little book
Great little sketch book for on the go Or for smaller studies. Compact and durable cover, it goes with me everywhere and so far handles wear and tear well. Paper is smooth and pretty good quality for the price, base color is an off white/yellow not bleached white so it's easier to use outside. Takes pencils of all kinds. Handlies ink pens (micron for me) really well and encourages smooth lines. Have used Alcohol markers (yes they bleed thru so put paper in-between pages) Paint pens (acrylic) don't bleed thru but do cause the paper to warp a bit so use a clip for best results.

MY FAVORITE SKETCHBOOK
So I have recently started using the "Royal Talens: Art Creations Sketchbook" for my art, since I need a good quality sketchbook that is on cheaper end of the price spectrum. I have heard great things about this sketchbook, so I figured I'd try it out. & I have to say, I am a huge fan. For one, there are tons of great color options! This specific one I'm reviewing is the yellow color, but there are a load of colors to choose from [red, green, purple, black... there are several options, so you're able to choose a color that speaks to you]. I have two others in a navy blue & light blue color. I then have to get into the paper quality - it's a solid option, especially for my multi-media artists. This sketchbook handles everything at my disposal: graphite, ink, colored pencils, acrylic paint [this will also handle other mediums like watercolor as well, I just don't use watercolor so that's why it's not on my list]. The paper measures 140 g/m2, making this a great option for a lot of mediums. Finally, the price. $11, which comparing that to a moleskine is about half the price, depending on the size of course. Overall, this sketchbook is fantastic, and has been a humongous help in improving my artistry as an artist. I highly recommend this sketchbook, to the beginner artist who needs a good sketchbook option, to the advanced artists with years of experience. Regardless of who you are, this sketchbook will fill your sketchbooking needs.

Amazing!
So cute and likeable! I’m a beginner and I got this one and the pages are like thick so no markers bleed through so that’s good! Very durable. Haven’t tried watercolor though! I will definitely try it though with crayons watercolor pencils!
