Works well for drilling, but breaks under load
This product works well for its basic purpose -- providing a flexible mechanism to drill or drive fasteners around corners or in hard to reach locations. Unfortunately, when only a bit of load is applied (such as when driving a screw or other fastener), the head of the tool breaks off of the shaft. I had several of these self-destruct in this way, so this appears to be a fundamental limitation of this tool. Bottom line, this is probably ok for drilling, but don't expect to use this to drive screws or other fasteners.

flex bit..
Received it, looks good, but its much stiffer than it looks, which makes handling it abit awkward since you have to you alot of force to hold the bend/flex in place while you screw it. good magnet though, my bit is stuck right on it. Also great that it only rotate internally and not affect your holding on to it. Would be better if it held in place after i flexed rather than needing to hold on to it (with much force too).

Save Your Money
Great idea, poor quality. Broke the first time I used. Within the first 10 seconds. And I was no where close to 90 degrees. I gave it two stars because it did look neat in my toolbox.

Doesn't perform as promised
It's not really true to say this can be used at 90°. It may bend that far but is so stiff in that position the inner core can't turn, for practical purposes. Realistically, it is limited to use up to 45°. I suspect that the friction (stiffness) is not such an issue in the 11" version. But, there has to be room for that larger radius of curvature. Neither is going to take the place of a 90° drill attachment.

Big help with cabinet project...
I recently decided to add some Blumotion slow-closing cabinet devices to my kitchen cabinets. My kids slam doors, and these prevent that. Anyway, they had to be installed in the top corner of each cabinet opening, and my cordless drill would not fit in the single cabinet openings. The screws needed to go directly into the side of the cabinet (perpendicular), so the angle of the drill (90 degrees) was very important. I bought both the 7-1/2" EasyPower Flex Extension, and the 11" version (I'm using this review for both). I used both of them depending on how tight the angle was for the screw, and they worked very well! Most importantly, I was able to get enough torque to pre-drill the holes and then fasten the screws securely. A great feature about these extensions is how you are able to grip the flexible metal tubing along the entire length of the extension and not have it spin in your hands. The actual cable supporting the bit is hidden inside. They could make a minor improvement on the product... I found that the extension did not stay firmly in my quick-change device that I use for bits on my drill. Sometimes it did, other times it pulled right out. I also noticed that the drill bit or screwdriver bit that goes in the end of the extension does not stay in place. It just slides in and out. Overall though, I was very pleased with my purchase.

Perhaps I just got a touchy one instead of a good one? Too bad because I had several projects ...
Unfortunately, this extension broke apart into many pieces when I used it. I had the ratchet on my drill set to 15, so I don't think I applied too much pressure. Perhaps I just got a touchy one instead of a good one?Too bad because I had several projects to egt done using it. Now I have to find another solution. For me, this was wasted money. Hopefully, others will have more success than I did.

Bad hex drive!
Male hex drive does not lock into impact driver. Keeps falling out of quick connect chuck making it hard to to use Female end is magnetic for bits.
