I PURCHASED THIS AND WENT TO HAVE IT INSTALLED, AFTER HAVING THE TECH GO THROUGH THE DIRECTIONS, WE HAD SOME QUESTIONS SO WE CALLED OUR LOCAL STEREO/ALARM SHOP AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THESE SYSTEMS MAKE IT EXTREMLY EASY FOR THE VEHICLE TO BE STOLEN AND THAT THEY ARE NOT RECOMMENDED. SO I RETURNED THE ITEM LUCKLY BEFORE INSTALLING IT, IF YOU DO PURCHASE PLAN ON HAVING A MECHANIC INSTALL IT, YOU HAVE TO SPLICE INTO ALL THE WIRING FOR YOUR VEHICLE.
