The Best Book On Soham Yoga!
I have been reading books by Swami Nirmalananda for over a decade and his books are excellent. I trust his expertise in Yoga, and spirituality in general. This book is a complete, in depth guide to the subject. The more I read this book, study it and practice Soham meditation and japa, the more thrilled I am to find this book. It is a complete spiritual path of Yoga and I feel the same thrill I felt when I was younger and discovered Self Realization Fellowship. This practice is refreshingly simple, unlike SRF complex and difficult practices. This book is a complete spiritual path. I am very grateful. I will cherish this book and practice. I've been meditating for 46 years and I've tried all sorts of meditation. I have been a serious meditator all these years but I have switched from one kind of meditation to another always looking for the best, most appropriate type of meditation. This Soham meditation has been the most simple, effective kind of meditation I have practices. Everything one needs to learn and practice Soham meditation is in this book. It is a treasure.

Years of trying out different Yoga approaches I finally found the answer its a no nonsense practice ! Very real and very beautiful so clearly explained by George Abbot. Instructions are simple and clear, wonderful insights on many other Yogis from Nath tradition that have practiced this Yoga and its no secret . It’s available now all it requires is open mind and heart . I have such gratitude for Swami Nirmalananda Giri for being here and sharing these books .

Absolutely Amazing
This is the most inspiring book I have read in decades. I have been practicing meditation for 47 years, but this technique has literally been a God send for me. I have received such incredible Grace from its practice and Abbot Burke is clear and complete in his presentation of this extraordinary subject. I thank God for this book and the Abbot for being the channel of its materialization. +LCC St Louis

Excellent technique of meditation
Excellent book I have read and recommend for seekers of meditation looking for one sure, detailed , crystal clear method of meditation with mantra or sound all revealed upfront and their basis. All of these kind of books have lot of repetition but I take it as necessary to drive home the concept that stick.

Conscious contact with Higher Power
This book is a life saver. It came to me at a bad time in my life. The author makes life so clear with a simple meditation. You can experience God directly. No guru or preacher needed. Your Spirit can connect with God. This spiritual philosophy has been around longer than Islam, Christianity, and others. It's the basis of a spiritual life. Read it and live it.

Finally someone delivers the truth about spiritual practice.
This book is a gem! It delivers the god honest truth about spiritual practice. If followed as laid out this book will dramatically change your life and spiritual unfoldment. No unnecessary initiations that rob you of your hard earned money. No ridiculously complicated visualizations, rituals, and shaktipats needed, just simple honest effort and common sense. Thank you.

Trying to repackage as something not religious, and drawing parallel from western text.
Trying to repackage as something not religious, and drawing parallel from western text. This is cruel to manipulate indian Shastra in whatever way they understood.

So ham meditation
This is the best book on how to practice sohum yoga that I have read. What makes it so unique is all the quotations from classical texts and masters. It is also refreshing to read that one can immediately start practicing the method after reading the book. The author makes it clear that iniatation by a guru is not required,

The clarity of writing
What an absolute wonderful book by a really great being. Never has there been a more simple clear practice or meditation explained in easy terms. What a relief to read such writing drawing on eclecticism from the great Saints and Masters of Yoga and elsewhere. This is a practice that we do every day unconsciously but now thanks to the Abbot will become part of my conscious life. Here is a man who clearly knows and has experienced his subject in every way.Every page was a pleasure to read and I would recommend this book to anyone. At the end of the book comes a dictionary of Sanskrit which is brilliant. Will look forward to reading many more of his works especially on Meditation
