Really easy and quick to prepare.
I loved the taste. I added a sprinkle of sazon seasoning, garlic with herbs, texas gunpowder, black pepper and Himalayan pink sea salt. Cooked it in a cast iron skillet with canoli oil.

Good try, but not ready for the market. Won't buy again
Good try, but not ready as yet. It tasted like seasoned fried flour. This product is not close to scrambled eggs. Happy I found a much better item. The texture and taste is identical to scrambled eggs... brand name: Just eggs. I'm getting all of my vegan items from Amazon fresh. Very convenient.

Unlike Just Egg, which has a taste I don't like, this I'll buy again!
Just Egg has a flavor I don't like. This powder mixes with water and oil into a thin batter thicker feeling than eggs. Not 'gooey' either, more like a batter. I;m still experimenting. Anyway, it's mostly acceptable and I'll buy it again.Anyway, for an omelet or scramble, it's pretty OK. Just Eggs worked 'sort of'. Especially if you include sauteed onions and or mushrooms, something which has power and will color pretty much anything. Bt with more subtle flavors, or by itself as scrambled eggs substitute, it's a non starter because of the flavor, which I've given up buying.Back to this product, flavor wise this stuff works acceptably. About as good as it's going to get, I suspect. And certainly beats nothing! Anyway, today, I folded it into an English muffin with a slice of lightly pan fried ham and simulated an Egg McMuffin with astonishingly good results. Definitely better than nothing.Bottom line? There are many ways to enjoy eggs if I'm willing to pay the price of bellyache and runs, classed as not-fun so I avoid doing. Thus, even if just for reclaiming a much loved form of eating egg at breakfast means I'll buy this stuff again. It's the new g- to in the fake eggs department for me.Now, if only there were a good substitute for deviled eggs . . . sigh, I really miss those.

Not a good egg substitute
I've been looking for a healthy eggless egg substitute. There's many options if you want the eggless options for use in baked goods. But if you desire an eggless product to be used for your morning scrambled eggs, you might be surprised to see so few options.I was only able to find one option on Amazon that listed scrambled as an option and that was this product, I purchased the original version which comes standard with mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes. The label says it can be used for omelettes and scrambled eggs (refer to photos). Well, my wife who is an excellent cook followed the directions, and did the best she could with the recipe. She told me that despite following the directions verbatim, they didn't turn out too well. She said the only way she was able to manage cooking them was in the form of an omelette. When I inspected the "nummy nimbles" eggs, the finished product looked like an omelette. Upon tasting it, what a HUGE disappointment. The texture was heavy and it tasked like dough with the strong taste of onion powder, no hint of tomatoes or mushrooms. They were not light and fluffy like real eggs. This left me scratching my head as to how this could be considered as an egg substitute. It was absolutely horrible! Tasteless, strong taste of onion powder in a doughy type mixture. There's no way I could eat this at this point, yet alone on a daily basis.Unfortunately, I purchased two boxes and I'm not sure if the unopened box can be returned.Because this item was flavorless and had a firm/heavy texture like flour and water, I have to give this item one star. And as much as I wanted to like this product, there's no way I can recommend it.

This will take practice
I tried the original mix this morning. It has mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. While the taste was fine, my omelette turned out more like a big pancake. It was the consistency of a pancake as well. I think I needed to add more than a 1/3 cup water since the mixture was very thick and did not pour easilty into the pan. It would be helpful to have the directions state high or medium heat as well as approximate cooking times since I think I cooked it at too high a heat and could not tell when it was time to flip it. Anyway, I have two more packages and will play around with it to see how I can get this more like an omelette or scrambled eggs. If I can be successful with that, I will order more.

Absolutely terrible
I wanted so much to like these, but they are truly awful. One pack was very plain and blah flavor. The second was so spicy I couldn’t eat it (and I I like spicy foods). Both had a very sticky gummy texture. I threw the third pouch away. Will stick to another brand of vegan eggs or make my own.

Needs more choices
The jalapeno variations are pretty spicy for a breakfast dish, but makes a great lunch if you're into imlets or scramble for lunch. That's how I will use them. The mushroom is not bad but for me personally mushrooms upset my stomach.Keep it up Nummy but more varieties please.

Not exactly eggs but still good
Nothing will be exactly like an egg. I've tasted Just Egg and it's the closest but it has ingredients in it that I don't care for so I don't buy it. Nummy Nibbles has a great flavor and has a little doughy consistency. I would say it feels more like I'm eating potatoes and eggs. I added shitake mushrooms and onions and it was delicious.
