Four toxic stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I sort of loved/hated this book, but it deserves 4 stars for character development alone. This story is not for everyone, Dolly and Edge’s relationship is less than ideal and can be very frustrating to read.Unlike the other two books in the series, this one focuses more in their relationship than club business so it can get to be too much, because Edge and Dolly are TOXIC. I was in a constant state of anxiety while reading this book, Dolly is that friend you loose you mind over trying to council so she doesn’t ruin her life with how toxic she is; she self-sabotages all the time, is absurdly insecure, has no self awareness, blames Edge for everything—from the way she feels to how she acts—has zero impulse control, it’s desperate to please everyone but Edge—and even herself— and she’s selfish and narrow-sighted. In short, Dolly can be highly unlikable—downright annoying—she’s a perpetual victim and does nothing to help herself because she always expects Edge to fix everything even though deep down she doesn’t accept who he is. But even then, you can’t hate her, sure, you get annoyed and exasperated with her, but she’s so sad and confused that you just want to hug her and then shake some sense into her, because you want her to get her act together, to be happy.I’ve read over 1.5K romance books and honestly there are a lot of characters like Dolly out there, the difference is that they’re so unapologetically toxic you just know the author thinks they’re “strong” and “independent,” here the author shows you that even Dolly knows she’s not right, but she’s so deep into her issues she can’t control herself. My sister is like that, she’s bipolar and when she starts self-sabotaging there’s no stopping her, when anxiety hits there’s no reasoning with her and her self-hate, so I find Dolly’s beautiful in how real and heartbreaking her issues are.No one and I mean NO ONE could be more perfect for Dolly than Edge, the man’s not perfect but he should be up for sainthood, he’s that patient. He bears with all of Dolly’s issues and insecurities, even though some of hers should feed his—like the fact Dolly is ashamed that he’s “trash” like their parents—but unlike Dolly he’s mentally and emotionally stronger to deal with and get over them, and with the strength he has left helps her and tries really really hard to make her feel like she is enough, although in the end it’s up to Dolly to accept herself and deal with her insecurities.I think what I like most about this book is that even though Edge supports Dolly and tries very hard to “save” her, in the end, Dolly saves herself, he helps her get there but—like in real life—she works through her problems and accepts her past and family, and with that, herself. This is a very harsh story about the realities of self acceptance and love, it’s not pretty, mainly because it’s real and real life is not always pretty. In a way this is a sort of coming of [emotional] age story, Dolly might have been in her early thirties, but deep down she never stopped being that insecure little girl who felt she had to prove to everyone that she wasn’t trash, that she was worthy.I usually run from this kind of stories because I hate toxic people and I read romance to escape the ugliness of the world, but this book showed the internal struggles of a very conflicted soul, it made me empathize with people I usually don’t, and left me with the hope that people like that can be better if they want to.I recommend to read this with an open mind and heart, it’s not for people who expect hearts and flower, sugar, spice, and everything nice. These are not nice people, this are people with issues and insecurities that rule their behavior, so beware.

Tumultuous Push-Pull Done Right
Dolly and Edge have just always meant to be- this is the reality Cassandra paints in their love story- there is no question, there is no doubt- they are fated. This story takes us on a journey through different stages of their relationships with each other as well as their orientation to the Disciples. As children, they are part of the fabric of the MC- we see their sweet and committed relationship blossom. As they mature and evolve, Dolly wants space from this life, while Edge sees it as his destiny. Dolly struggles to find herself as she matures, whereas Edge starts to sit into the natural understanding of who he’s meant to be with the club. Heartbreak occurs, challenges both internally and externally combat their relationship- yet, they always find a way back to each other, because their hearts are forever fused. Like star-crossed MC lovers. The path here is tumultuous to say the least- a lot of give a tack, false starts and false resolution that is only rocked by another challenge, by forces and other people who stand in their way of being together, including themselves. That path impacts them- changes them-- losing a piece of heart, half of your soul, it changes you. They can’t find their peace, but they can’t stay apart- an angushing cycle of heartbreak, challenge, and hurt. But, the fight for their love never stops, and the adversity only strengthens the indestructible tether between them. The chemistry here is compulsive, magnetic, explosive- the romantic equivalent of a tornado- at times violent and destructive, awe-inspiring, no end and no beginning. Chaotic, a force of nature, savagely beautiful. Just like Dolly and Edge, you too are sucked into the cyclone that is their romance- swirling around, consumed by the chaos, hanging on for the rainbow you hope comes at the end of the storm.Cassandra builds such a compelling, emotional, and nuanced foundation for their connection with the plot- a friendship, young love, jaded lovers, soulmates. Each piece of their narrative journey, each moment is part of the mosaic of their love- full of jaded, rough pieces that can cut, broken moments, but indefinitely fused together into something that is whole, that is beautiful. This is how you do complex love stories, this is how you do heartache and redemption. A carefully crafted push-pull. How you do love that is as anguishing as it is beautiful. Each character gets depth, layers and dimension. These are characters who struggle- with their identities, as lovers and as individuals- and underneath it is a captivating devotion to one another - the need for each other like they need air to breathe. Wow. Just wow.Repent may be my favorite in the series thus far-so anguishing, emotive, and captivating. The raw and gritty MC world contrasted with a sweet, vulnerable, yearning love story. I love the clear point of view Cassandra has as an MC author- it's quickly becoming one of my favorite voices in the MC romance genre.

Loved Edge. Not a fan of Dolly
Oh Edge. Sweet, sweet Edge💛 IMO the beginning part(the before) was the best part of the series so far. I LOVED getting to see that side of Edge and Dolly. Now Dolly pisses me off. Girl needs to stop jumping to assumptions in the first 2 seconds. THINK! I loved Edge and how he kept fighting for Dolly even when she stabbed him. I was NOT a fan of their pregnancy at the end. We have seen this is all of the other 2 books. Do something else.

Repent book 3
Well that was a roller coaster of a romance. You gave me a fright there! (No spoilers from me)From little children who are drawn to each other from an early age and their relationship and bond, that forms from their dreadful childhood. The jealousy, love and support they give to one another. It's like Romeo and Juliet meets Fatal Attraction rolled up in a biker MC romance book with a HEA.This one sees Dolly and Edge fight between their love and Edges love for his club along with Edge having to reconcile with the decisions the Disciples MC makes that affect his life. Then Dolly and Edge fighting to finally finding their balance , and happiness.

ARGH
There were so many points in this book where I wanted to jump into it and scream at both Dolly and Edge (mostly Edge). I think they have to be one of the most infuriating couples I've ever read about...but I love them! They're just so 100% in love with each other that it messes with both their heads so much and I have never been so glad to read a 'Happily Ever After'.Part one was a tough read, mainly because you just want them both to be happy. Part two wasn't exactly plain sailing either but at least you got the HEA.

Edge and Dolly 💞
This series is addictive and gritty and I love it. These Disciples have a way of getting under your skin.Edge and Dolly have to be my favourite couple so far, I've absolutely loved and rooted for them the whole series.Everything about Dolly and Edge lured me in, from young biker brats who were best friends to adults who hurt and bled for each other, the connection, chemistry and love between them was raw and painful at times but also pure, beautiful and timeless......They are Dolly and Edge!💕 “I love you more, always have.” 💕I'm so excited for Axel, he's a very intriguing character and he's definitely a favourite Disciple of mine. 👏👏

This book was amazing!
I had been dying to know Edge and Dolly’s story. Got bits and pieces about them from previous books, so I knew they had a history together. This book reveals all, the good, the bad and the ugly. Will Edge and Dolly finally have their HEA? Can love conquer all?I’m not going to give spoilers. I’m not going to say too much, but both characters have been through so much. Their story is an emotional roller coaster of a ride. So buckle up and enjoy. Highly recommend. This series is so good.
