These fit my old tube amp
These are the only plugs that fit on my vintage tube amp. Had to modify them a little and run a bare speaker wire into them, but they worked great!

Working great on new high end speakers.
These have worked great. My older speakers used banana terminals. I just upgraded to a pair of very high end speakers, but since their terminals were for small spades (barrier strip style with screws), I had to send my good speaker cables to the factory to get them re-terminated. Of course, I didn't want to wait to hear my new speakers, so I picked up these to use in the mean time with my older, but still good speaker cables (Tara Labs, Rectangular Solid Core). They fit the terminals perfectly and the banana connections were nice and snug. These are very revealing speakers and it would have been noticeable if the connectors caused a problem. They sounded great! I'll direct compare when my cables come back from the factory, but my guess is that the improvement in sound will be due primarily to the cable and not the termination. These would be especially good in applications where you need small spades, but want the convenience of swapping in and out, cables with bananas on them.

Works for early 1960's hifi gear
Fits the speaker screw connectors of my MC 225, H. H. Scott 299A and Fisher 500B quite well. Standard banana plugs fit right in, and significantly improves the ease of changing speaker cables. The metal is rather soft and the wee little prongs bend easily. When using bare speaker wire to the screw terminals, I was Petrified that a tiny thin copper wire would short the speaker connections, leading to Ruin and Weeping and the Gnashing of teeth (well, dentures). I've already had enough of that in my life, thankyouverymuch. These little jobbers work well, and I recommend them for those few clever folks who own vintage audio gear.

Worked for me.
I have 10 year old B&W speakers and these worked for them very thick. Nice quality.

Fine quality. Confirm size before ordering.
These are great quality and just what I needed. Except that I didn't check out the width of the spade ends before ordering, and they just won't work with my system. I tried stretching them wider but that wasn't a satisfactory solution. Can't fault these just because I made a mistake. I found others which work for my needs.

Did not work for me.
I've been very much involved in speakers and of course speaker wires and the connections all my life. I was excited about trying these but I just couldn't get even get a near firm connection to any of my speakers' connectors.

Good fit and function
Being that I like to collect older audio equipment, these have come in handy with connections. I like to keep thevintage gear unmodified if possible, and the speaker connections are always different on older audio equipment. These fit perfectly on some old speakers and a receiver I have. I would definitely buy them again, and I'm sure I will be ...

Made of brass
These are gold coated brass which means that the lugs will break off easily if you try to bend them. I recommend measuring carefully before ordering. They are rather expensive for what they are. I have used them as part of a high frequency antenna which is outside. I am very happy with them.

Perfect
Just what I needed. Easy to use and don't effect sound quality at all as used on speaker cables
