Is this permitted to take on a flight?

It is permitted in a CHECKED BAG but not in your purse or in ANY carryon.

Does the leather pouch have a belt loop?

No it only has a keychain hole.

Will this work on animals too?

One benefit of carrying pepper spray as your self-defense device of choice is that it can be used against any human or animal attacker. ... Pepper spray is non-lethal, even when used against small animals. Thanks

Has this product leaked or activated while in pocket or bag?

Nope. And it’s been treated badly. Shoved and swung around and hasn’t leaked one bit. The case is wonderful, price was great, and hope ready to use if needed. Had bought another previously from Walmart but this one was cuter and seemed safer to carry in purse. And it is. Best one for price the price I think. Very sturdy and indestructible while carrying for safety purposes in purse.
