Chakir Turkish Linens Thick Channel 100% Turkish Cotton 4 Pack Bath Towel Set, White, 4 Count

I have not purchased a towel in about 7 years. Looking in the linen closet all I can see are old mismatched towels, many of them puckering (that is when the embroidery at the ends shrinks and ruins the towels) and fraying at the sides. All of them now good for car washing and company.I picked these towels out to start with to see how good of a towel you can get for such a low price. These towels looked pretty good to me. They didn’t have any apparent defects and look to be true to size.The towels are not as thick and luxurious as I would like. I would call these everyday towels. Not super thick but not thin either. There is a good amount of fiber (700 GSM) and they have a decent substantial feel.Following the instructions, I washed them with Tide detergent on the regular cycle. Sorry, but that is how towels get washed at my house so no exceptions for these. I used cold water per instructions but typically like to wash clothes in a warm/cold cycle.During the rinse cycle, I added some Downey fabric softener (liquid mixed with some warm water) as I always do with my laundry.I dried them on the low-cycle for about 35 minutes until they were completely dry.The results were fine. The towels came out fluffier than when I first started. They feel soft and did not drop off a huge amount of lint. See the photos of the lint collected when drying 4 of these towels (they were the only thing in the load).You can see from the measurements that the towels ended up about 20% thicker after laundering. Several reviewers mentioned that after the second or third wash they really fluff up best.Overall, these are a good towel and appear to be well-made. I have concerns about puckering because after pulled from the dryer I could see some shrinkage around the embroidering area of the towels. I was able to pull them flat but only time and many washing will tell.I will follow-up in a few months after several washings with an update.

These towels are too thick for my likings. It feels as though after a shower I am toweling off with a terrycloth bathrobe. . I am someone who likes to be able to get the water out of my ears using the bath towel and I can't with these towels. They are much to thick to do that. I suppose if you are someone who prefers a thick bath towel, than these towels would be for you. I would much rather have a thinner rougher bath towel. It comes down to a personal choice. I give it two stars cause my husband likes them.

I travel often for work and have stayed in many five star hotels. These towels have the same feel as the hotel towels that I just love! I took one of these towels to a luxurious hotel purposely to guage similarities or differences between them (did the same for Amazon Basics face rags, but that's another review 😃) and couldn't tell the difference. In fact, I had to check the tag to tell which was mine! YOU WON'T REGRET THIS PURCHASE!!! I can't believe how SOFT & drying these towels are. It soaks up water and so dries you quickly and thoroughly. Love these!!! Buy them!!!

I Chakir Turkish Linens Luxury Hotel & Spa Bath Towels 100% Cotton Dobby Border (White, Set of 4) have had these towels for almost three months now. Since they first arrived and following several washings now, I am still disappointed on a daily basis. These towels do not absorb water. I thought at first it was because they were new and even though my kids complained they hated them I kept saying give it time... well, time is not helping. Nothing luxury about a towel that doesn't do what its intended to do

My wife has only bought towels that were on sale, and were average quality. I told her I wanted something better...I bought these. We love them, they are fluffy, very absorbent, and excellent quality. I am very impressed, and the price was great (under $28 dollars for 4).They are extremely fluffy (yet solid), so they do take up more space in my linen closet..I reordered 4 more, and might get another 4 after I re-organize my linen closet. :)Highly recommended

I don't know what the other reviewers experienced but my experience with these towels is A-O.K.They are large.They are soft.They are well made and I have not experienced any sort of deterioration of the cloth or its workmanship.They seem durable and are comfortable.As for a gift, it depends on who you are giving them to. If your supplementing a close relative or friend's household linens then YES, give them as a gift.If you are giving them to an acquaintance/co-worker then NO. They are well made and fancy but in my opinion, they are NOT fancy/make a statement giftable.I would definitely buy again for my household and give as a stocking stuffer/supplemental gift for the holidays.Great Towels!!!Will Buy Again!!!

Less than 8 weeks later two of the four towels came out of a high end LG washer with shredded holes. I have never seen anything like it. Terrible quality! worse purchase I have made on Amazon.

I have tried many bath towels over the years and have always been disappointed - they always were soaked before I finished drying myself and they had to be laundered frequently because they would smell begin to smell moldy very quickly. I discovered these and learned that Turkish cotton is different than Egyptian cotton. The Turks use these in their Turkish public bath houses since most old Turkish homes were built without a bathtub or a shower. They don't even launder these towels - they hang them to dry and hand them out to the next customer because they don't retain odors.

Las toallas son de medio baño, lo cual eché en falta que se especificara en la descripción del producto. Son de algodón, de buena calidad aunque no de la mejor. Son una buena opción por el precio. Ojalá tuvieran las tuvieran en un tamaño más grande.

Este es el modelo que quiero y me mandaron otro de menor calidad. Los dos traían el mismo empaque , pero no son las mismas ni la calidad.No están muy bien terminadas , temo que se vayan a descoser algunas rápidamente

En cuanto las lavas se hacen mas gruesas y pachoncitas, muy buen producto.

Si son como las típicas que te encuentras en hoteles y es de un tamaño similar sino es que igual.
