Time will tell!
Well I don't know where to start. I bought 4 cans of this sealer and tried to heat it in a put with water. I used my weed burner to heat the pot and it boiled and boiled but never got it soft enough. I live at about 300 ft elevation so that was not the issue.(remember water boils at a lower temp the higher the altitude). So I took my burner and heated the can directly, being careful not to overheat the dealer. I kept turning the can and using a low heat level. It got soft enough to pour, barely, but it cools so fast you can only do about a 24 inch section at a time. I would liked to have had it get runnier so I could just get it in the crack and not on top of the asphalt. So far after about 2 days it has stayed like a rubber texture. Soft but not tacky. I am not sure that it will be a good match with the sealer that the asphalt sealing company will put over it. It does not go very far for the money. But everything is expensive now days. If it continues to adhere to the sidewalks of the cracks it should work well, It is definitely a hazardous material to use. Just be careful when handling it. Use long gloves, safety glasses and or a face shield when carrying and heating.

Not as good as I thought
I first thought this product will be cheaper and the description makes me think it is easy to handle with no messes. I was wrong. There were two cans of black rubber and a can holder. It requires heating to melt the rubber. Once the rubber melts, the can handle is then placed on top of the can. The can handle resembles a handle of a glass coffee pot. The handle fails to secure the can. The can often detaches and fall often. Not safe with hot liquid. I would not recommend people to buy this product.Instead, one can buy the hot melt asphalt patch from Lowe's (about $48) It comes in a cube shaped box. It is quite heavy. Inside the box is two blocks of the same black rubber. 1 block is already more than the two cans of this rated product offer. One can use a burner/ flame torch to melt the black plastic.

Danger: Boiling tar over an open flame with a plastic handle!
This might be one of the most dangerous products on Amazon. At $20+ for about a quart of asphalt plastic tar, this company supplies a thin plastic handle to heat (over an open flame!) mix, carry and pour boiling tar! To make things worse, the fragile handle/spout is held on to the boiling tar can with a hose clamp. Plus, you have to reuse the fragile handle. The instructions warn that without proper tightening the can may fall out splashing molten hot plastic tar! Once the can gets hot from being heated over the recommended propane flame the handle becomes weak and risks hot plastic tar spilling on you! One of the handles melted before the sealer was finished heating. Possibly leathal Third degree burns can result. Boiling hot tar can stick to your skin and continues to burn your flesh! Useal should immediately provide metal slip proof bracket handle spouts! Is a driveway crack really worth the risk of a critical burn?

Great stuff with some advice
I did my long driveway myself. It certainly takes some work to understand how to do this. Don't use a barbecue grill. I had a stand alone single Venturi burner with stand used for boiling turkeys! Yup. That worked perfectly. I put the handle on and placed the can in water in an aluminum pan. I covered this with aluminum foil. Make sure you really tighten that collar with handle very VERY securely. Look at the video for good instructions. When everything heats up this can get loose. I let it cook just up near a boil for about 45 minutes to an hour. When I pulled the aluminum off it was soft and easy to begin to push down the top into the hotter liquid below. Take your time and let it get nice and hot so you can easily pour and follow that pour with a plastic trowel so you can quickly flatten it into the cracks. They say only do about 3' at a time. I would do less but working quickly you can pour, then scrape then pour then scrape and get in a groove doing this.So far it looks like the fill is holding. Better than the acrylic stuff. I think it will hold better because it does stay soft. Thus important to use the trowel quickly and not have a gummy buildup. Know exactly where you are going to fill before you do it Timing is everything. It gets stringy as it cools. This can get on pants and shoes. I through the pants out rather than have my machine pick up a tar ball. My shoes - I cleaned the bottoms first by cutting off any excess tar then followed that with nail polish remover or acetone. Because you will find dark streaks on your floor later and wonder where that came from. It is work but I got to do it they've way I wanted it. I took the time to cover as many cracks as possible. Bought about 12 cans. It is a long driveway.
