TUFF Coat UT-100 SR Smooth Texture 1 Gallon Non-Skid Coating

I only have good things to say about the product and the company! I had a problem with one of the gallon cans being bad when I opened it. It had a big rubber block inside that could not be mixed. I had purchased them both from amazon at separate times months ago. I searched Tuff Coat online there was a phone number and a nice Lady Darcy answered right away. I explained that one can was bad and and ask if she could tell me where I could buy a gallon local. I was renting a shop spot to keep dry doing the job. I emailed a photo to Darcy of my problem. It showed both 1 good can and 1 bad freshly open with a screwdriver stuck up in the bad can, it was also discolored. She called me back after verifying my Amazon orders and said no one local to me had it. Darcy said she would ship a can over night. I got it the next Day. Thanks for such great customer support! They list a phone # on the Webb and answer it. I did not have to go through Amazon they dealt direct and took care of me. THANK YOU Tuff Coat!

Replaced the plywood on our pontoon boat then used this tough coat as the label recommended. It is a two part system and it setup perfectly. I highly recommend this for any outdoor applications. Even on docks. Nice finish it’s a little course not slippery at all.

Even though the package was filled nicely with foam fillers the one gallon I ordered along with a quart of primer was almost destroyed. All though the dent is huge and may have happened before shipping there are atleast no leaks. No damage to the primer which was in the same box. Photo for reference.

Very pleased with the color and texture. Dries extremely quickly in the FL sun, so I got a few places that are off just a tad bit. Def use the recommended foam roller. Purchased 2 so I could cut one of them down to 3" worked perfectly for my application. Becareful not to apply to thick because it does crack, although it's barely noticeable.

Awesome product. I applied to the new deck of a 23' boat I repaired and it worked like a charm. This is about the best non-skid paint I've ever encountered. A couple of pointers for future users:1) You need to mix like crazy, it takes quite a while to get all the particulate blended in.2) I didn't use their recommended roller (didn't know one existed) so it was a challenge to roll out. I ended up using a 4 inch "hot dog" roller. Just don't push down hard because it pushes the paint rather than rolling it out. Once I got the touch, I flew through the project with a few thin coats. Yield was better than expected or advertised.3) Wear gloves, this stuff sticks like white on rice.

It is not a smooth texture as described, it is a gritty texture and rough ! Very nasty and messy take caution to wear gloves and mask , cover anything you don't want it on. it does not clean up well at all and does seem to be pure crap ! However if you take your time it will work out to a stable and good surface. I guess I might would use it again in certain applications .

Coated casting deck over a year ago, worked so well did the rest of boat this year

This stuff is great!! Bought dark Grey looks awesome rolls on easy. I recommend the roller they say to use it worked well. I used a brush to get in the places the roller wouldn't. I was only going to do the floor of my fiberglass 1960 boat but it turned out so good I did the sides and the back where the fuel tanks go. I even painted the stern it looks sharp. I used the primer as well every thing worked really well I followed the manufacture directions and I'm very happy with the results!! Not sure how it wears yet but it dried rock solid.
