vmfeeders 1000 Live Large (3/4") Crickets (Acheta Domesticus)(Brown Cricket)

I bought these for my bearded dragon. They arrived mostly alive but a lot of dead ones.

This is now my sixth order from VM Feeders and they always deliver above my expectations. My bearded dragon has gone from a baby to a nice size juvenile over the past 6 months and I've ordered from small, to medium and now large crickets from VM. My pleasantly plump toad also loves to devour these crickets a few times a week. All shipments ALWAYS arrive before the expected delivery date and out of a 1,000 crickets each time, there may only be a handful of DOA which is to be expected since they're....crickets!To give an idea of how fast shipping is, I live down in Georgia, and ordered on 12/06. VM shipped same day and it arrived mid-day on 12/09. I know I can always count on these guys to get me healthy crickets quickly and for this there is no reason for me to purchase from anywhere else.Also, I keep my crickets within 3 large cricket keepers. VM makes it super convenient for me since they include 3-4 egg carton pieces within each box of 1,000. Once opening the box, I simply reach in quickly, yank out a carton, throw it in the keeper, and close the top. I repeat two more times and I'm done. I maybe have 20 or so escapees that hop back to nature but that is a very palatable amount of collateral damage in my opinion!Keep up the great work VM and I will continue to be a loyal customer! This isnt my usual vendor so i gave them a try. I bought these thinking that they were one inch because they said large but I was mistaken that's not the vendors fault. When they arrived it came in two boxes an outside box most likley for protection and an inside box that held the crickets it also came with a forty hour lasting heat pack because in new York it's pretty cold right now. When I opened the box containing the crickets it looked like half of them were dead I was pretty upset but I was gonna try and feed a few dead ones to my bearded dragon to see if he'd eat them. That's when I realized that they were not dead they were just cold. When crickets get to cold they slow down and will often times appear dead. I put a heat lamp on the tank I keep my crickets in and just about all of jumped back up in time. Now taking the inventory of the dead and alive crickets it seems that there is only a handful of dead ones this is to be expected. Much better than I had originally thought. Overall I am highly satisfied with this vendor and will buy from them again.

These arrived in good shape. Acheta crickets live longer and have a thinner exoskeleton . Just seemed like they only lasted a week. Feeding them out. Thought 1000 would last me at least two weeks. Feed them Fluker cricket diet and some greens with a potato they live much longer. Also always remove the dead ones.

My other vendor was out so I gave this one a try....boy am I glad I did. Shipped very quickly, with food in the box. There were more than 1000 I'm sure, all in great health. Its now almost 2 weeks later and they are still going strong, very few have died. Quiet, docile, and our veiled chameleon loves them!! Will definitely order these again.

I have ordered from a different company and half the crickets were dead, I decided to order from VM feeders since they are more convenient through Amazon and was extremely happy!! Even in the heat I didn't find a single dead cricket and there was even food in the box for them. Will definitely order again.

Very docile, no noise, and don’t jump. Much better than banded crickets. I feed lots of reptiles and these feed all. I did not like how many were dead upon arrival. I have ordered from lots of different vendors and this had a higher than normal dead. I really like the cricket though.

Nice crickets! Arrived early and probably only 5 dead ones! Very surprised, shops with food in the box and the box is very sturdy.Would definitely recommend this seller 👍
