These are fantastic tongs and I don't have to worry about these melting in bacon fat like other plastic ones. The only thing that would improve them is if they had a way to prop them up and keep the tong end off the countertop. I have another set of tongs that have a small metal loop on one side so when you lay them down, the tongs stay elevated - it can still drip into the counter, obviously, but it doesn't pick up any crumbs that might be on the counter, which is the more important bit.

Easy to grip. Indentation for thumb. The silicone tip is easy to use and flip over small bits of food. Oxo changed the silicon tip on some of their tongs. The Oxo tip is bigger and more scalloped. I find the Oxo more difficult to use. The Di Oro is easier to manipulate and feels sturdy and well-crafted. Recent 10 day sale had great prices.

just what I hope it would be

I've bought a complete set of non-stick cooking utensils from DI ORO and am very happy with them. This piece bugs me because I can't put the small end of it in my utensil holder without the tongs opening, so that it spreads and takes up too much room. I wish they had a button on the side to open and close the tongs, like OXO does. That's much easier. It takes one finger, not 2 hands, to open and it fits in a utensil jar without self-opening. If that doesn't bother you, go for it. The quality is great.

I have been looking for high quality silicon coated tongs for quite some time now. I love di Oro brand silicon spatulas, so I had hoped that their tongs would outshine the other brands in similar fashion. I was wrong. One of the main things I look for is the sturdiness of the ends. The metal always seems to be really flimsy and bends far too easily. These are no exception. The main part of the tongs has the metal bent into a square C shape to give it lots of strength. However, right before it gets to the silicon pads, the metal narrows and becomes flat, making it weak and flexible. Otherwise, these are great tongs. They have a nice obtuse angle near the top to minimize the notorious pinch point that many tongs have. The locking mechanism is a little flimsy, but seems plenty functional. The ends meet at the bottom when closing, making them good for picking up noodles. I have some other tongs that leave a small gap so that noodles like spaghetti and fettucine just fall right through. They're good for the price. Over time, the ends will need to keep being bent back inward to have a good grip.

These very similar to OXO and at a better price. In fact, you have to compare them side by side to find the little differences. The silicone tips are much better grabbing whatever. You can use the OXO when you need 600 degree tips.

So these have lasted less than a year and have been used daily, nice pair of tongs good to use on non stick pans, a little disappointed they have split, On the plus side DI ORO have a Forever Warranty on all of there DI ORO products, spoke with very helpful customer services who helped me to resolve the issue. Very pleased and makes a change to have a company who has excellent customer aftercare.

Facile da utilizzare e non ho avuto nessuno difficolta. Nonostante nuon avessi mai acquistato cose del genere mi sono fidata perché ho sempre acquistato su SHEIN e mi sono sempre trovata bene quindi continuerò a farlo e sicuramente prenderò altri articoli simili perché sono ottimi.
